Summary: I'm an OKI fan. My first printer was an Okidata wide carriage dot matrix that I purchased because the print quality was better than the competition at that time. It lasted 7 years and took a beating. After many years, I returned to OKI, again because of the print quality. OKI printers use high gloss toner, so pictures printed on card stock look like high quality photo paper prints. I also like having the ability to print on heavy card stock.
Summary: I like my Oki C5150n so much I bought the Oki C330dn when my wife's printer went bad. Both machines are solid, dependable, work horse printers with beautiful print quality but the new C330n is faster and does even more than my 5150. I am a fan of Oki quality and would not hesitate to buy another.
Pros: wired or wireless network capable connection long toner cartridge life beautiful print quality good print speed duplex printing capable will print banners envelopes and card stock automatic "power saver" stand-by mode relitively quiet printing best bang-for-the-buck printer i have found
Cons: not much of a con but it is larger than an ink-jet
Summary: i previously owned a c3400n and it gave me years of service i have a small business and i use my printers a lot so when it was time to buy another i bought this one and man is it great they modified this printer and made it even better. it is the closes to the c3400n.
Summary: I purchased this printer to replace a perfectly fine running Oki C5200n I'd had for over eight years. But I ran up against the same wall all laser printer owners face eventually... Money. The cost to replace depleted consumables was going to cost about $100 more than the cost of this printer, even with generic components. This printer is attached to a computer running a dual boot Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro operating systems. Installation was stupid simple...
Summary: This is an OKI printer. It is built like a tank (well, at least tank-like) and it pops out the color prints with no backward glance. I have it slaved to half a dozen computers and it keeps up very nicly.
Summary: The OKI C330dn is a great printer. I needed to replace an old mono printer, wanted color that would help my business POP... this printer does that. In addition to printing everything for standard business documents, this does Banner printing (I create mine using the Powerpoint application), and this was the only color printer I could find that supported different media weights... this has become my small business marketing machine...
Summary: This is absolutely one of the best printers in its price class. Its print quality in both black and color is head and shoulders above comparable HP printers - I should know, the office I spend several days a week in has 2. For plain text, graphics, and CAD, the prints are some of the best I've seen. It is more than fast enough for home office or small business printing, the duplex feature works like a charm, and it is very Mac friendly.
Summary: I ordered the OKI C330dn late Wednesday night and received it mid-day on Friday; 36 hours later! The unit is about twice the size and weight I expected but feels very solid and well built. The instructions for this unit seemed sketchy and sparse. I wound up winging the installation and by the grace of the OS and ISP provided equipment, all went fast and smooth. The print quality is excellent for text and color pictures.
Summary: This printer perfectly fit my wife's & my current goals, She needs some special printng for store signage and I wanted be able to duplex print. I did not realize how heavy it was (didn't check), but it doesn't shift around. I used the network setup tool on the install cd to add the C330cn to the house network. Had no problems and added other printes with the varous dirvers Called Okidata to get detail info on features and found the support staff very helpful.
