Summary: Just a little after 12 months the printer is dead. Code "134 LED" error is either the motherboard or LED printhead. Out of warranty cost is $252 for them just to look at but you have to ship it back to them at your cost. It costs new $250 on Amazon, so since it's out of warranty, it's now a 30 lb. paperweight. Even when working the print quality was just okay. The print drivers were also nothing to write home about (difficult to install and limited options/features).
Summary: I purchased this printer April 2013. I barely use it ( maybe 1-2 reams of paper I still use the original toner). I called okidata after some diagnostics they say they cpu needs to be replaced. They said my warrenty expired may 2014. I never had this happen to any HP printer i owned.
Summary: I purchased this printer one year ago and it worked fine for the first 6 months. For the last 6 months I have lived with terrible quality printing. Lines are present where they should not be, print is missing and the entire page has a light gray haze over it. It appear to need a new drum. Checking the printer usage menu it says the printer has 50% drum life remaining and that I have printed 12,758 pages. This is unacceptable.
Summary: original printer was defective and cost me $$ b/c my IT guy needed to install it to find out it ran 2 copies and jammed every time. paper drawer closed very hard like it didn't fit. called adorama-they said i had to call oki. spent time convincing oki my printer could not be trouble shoot'd. oki finally made it right by replacing it. cost me printer plus IT installtion x 2.

Summary: Will never purchase an Oki Data again. Terrible support from Adorama and terrible support directly from Oki Data. We purchased 3 of these printers and one worked for 3 weeks and then lost the network menu. After hours on the phone with Oki Data, they have determined that we or the client somehow voided the warranty. They stated that we accessed the Maintenance Menu, thereby voiding the warranty! They said that the motherboard now needed to be replaced.
Summary: Run from this printer. I tried extensively to get this to work with a Dell Windows 7 computer without success. I have bought and connected numerous printers over the years and never had a problem until this one. It never worked despite downloads. I encountered hassles in returning. I intend to throw it in the trash and write off my investment. I will avoid Okidata products and Adorama.
Summary: I recently got a new computer that runs Windows 8. This printer went from being very fast on a Windows 7 machine to very slow on the Windows 8 machine. The Windows 8 driver does not appear to function correctly and Oki still has not fixed this issue.
Summary: I am on my 2nd B431dn in 5 days and I am about to throw this out of my 4th floor window. Complete POS. I do primarily B/W document printing, about 2000 pages a month, and needed an efficient workhorse printer to replace an older model HP that crapped out. From the reviews, this looked like a perfect fit for my needs.
Summary: Der Drucker druckt zwar schnell, er kann jedoch keine Graustufen drucken. Die Druckqualität bei Seiten mit sehr vielen Graustufen ist leider sehr sehr schlecht. Ich wollte den Drucker als günstigen Studenten-Drucker verwenden. Leider sind unsere Skripten mit sehr vielen Grafiken und haben einen sehr hohen grau Anteil. Daher ist der Drucker für mich leider nicht brauchbar.
