Summary: I needed a fast and economical black/white/greyscale printer for home/college use and went for this OKI. I've had it for around 2 years now and still haven't had to change the toner cartridge. It does a great job with letters, papers, and graphics. It warms up fast and prints quickly. Advanced power options save electricity and it has an easy to follow LCD menu screen. I have no complaints with the machine.
Summary: A little heavy but have had no issues with it since purchase. haven't tried any other paper other than standard 8.5x11. works technically well. i'd recommend this printer. best bang for the buck.
Summary: I purchased this printer one year ago and it worked fine for the first 6 months. For the last 6 months I have lived with terrible quality printing. Lines are present where they should not be, print is missing and the entire page has a light gray haze over it. It appear to need a new drum. Checking the printer usage menu it says the printer has 50% drum life remaining and that I have printed 12,758 pages. This is unacceptable.
Summary: This printer works as good as any printer I have ever used and it did not cost much. In addition it's operating cost is very low. I bought it because my hp 2500dn color laserjet quite working and it needed new cartridges (which cost about the same as a new color laserjet.) It is also much less expensive to operate then a Canon i9900 color inkjet that I have.
Summary: So Far it has been a real pleasure and the customer support is perfect. Very Fast Printer, for sure. I recommend this as a black and white cost effective alternative to the cheap printers that break fast and cost a fortune in INK.
Summary: Needed a relatively fast printer with a small footprint to send out about 300 statements per month. After looking at several options, the office manager chose this one and at this point, she made the right choice. This little printer easily prints 30 pages a minute, so what used to take close to an hour, takes only about 10 minutes. The print has clear, defined edges and looks very professional, appearing outsourced.
Summary: original printer was defective and cost me $$ b/c my IT guy needed to install it to find out it ran 2 copies and jammed every time. paper drawer closed very hard like it didn't fit. called adorama-they said i had to call oki. spent time convincing oki my printer could not be trouble shoot'd. oki finally made it right by replacing it. cost me printer plus IT installtion x 2.
