Summary: Toner splotches all over printouts after just a few hundred prints. Okidata support offered no useful solution beyond purchasing new components - which would be foolish on my part. My recommendation - BUY HP!
Summary: After nearly 30,000 pages of flawless printing, my printer now "needs" a new drum. There is no easy way to reset the drum counter -- it's a chip built into the drum. And the printer will stop until you cough up the money for a new drum. The cost of a new drum is in excess of $185.
Summary: I bought this printer based on excellent Internet reviews. When I received it, I noticed that the print quality was not quite as good as my old HP LaserJet had been. Not bad, just not as good and I felt I could live with that.
Summary: Oki makes fine and reliable products. This unit, while not the quietest, is a Fast workhorse. The only thing it doesn't do well is print #10 envelopes. It curls and wrinkles them and sometimes even makes the envelope flap glue stick. Good buy though if you need to print a lot of text documents.
Summary: Let me say this machine works 5/5 stars with win7 64 bit mode. However this machine is a 1/5 stars with OS X Here is the list of problems with the printer and OS X using the network to print. Does not "wake-up" from sleep mode. Does not print simple charts (print as a black box).
Summary: We bought this printer specifically to print a bunch of paper goods for our October, 2010 wedding. We were printing programs, maps, welcome letters, etc. for approximately 100 guests and the printer performed wonderfully.
