I should have known, but hoped for a surprise

Summary: I bought one and it didn't work. The error message was no ink cartridge installed or installed in the incorrect position." They indicated that it had no USB cable, but I had one. I returned it and they kindly refunded the cost and shipping fees. I thought that was nice. I ordered another one.
Useful for college student, don't fear refurbished

Summary: I bought this inexpensive refurbished printer to use in my dorm room. I really loved the small footprint -- it fit easily on my desk and was perfect for daily, few-page print jobs. Anything hefty, I would have just used the library's laser printers.
Summary: I actually do very little printing from my computer and use my wife's computer for photographic work, ergo I decided to go with this model simply due to the low cost (translate that into cheap). And cheap it was and cheap it is...in more ways than one. This machine is absolutely outrageously slow.
Summary: The Lexmark was nice while it lasted but after a few months and two re-inkings...it's heart ceased to beat. Amazon's free delivery was super...I just wish I could say the same for the Z615. Print quality and speed were excellent until the printer seized up...just like my old Z42.
Summary: What do you expect? This is better than the past 2 Lexmarks I have owned. It's smaller, faster and quieter than the older ones too. Power button lights up green and case colors match well with the rest of my system.

Excerpt: Lexmark Z615 printer I've used this printer for around two years after purchasing it from my local ink shop for just under £15 back in 2008. As I needed to print off page upon page of coursework for submission, I needed a printer that would be reliable enough to keep up to the job; needless to say,...
