Summary: Well, when it worked it was fantastic - but it didn't last long. Customer support tried to get me going several times, but i haven't been able to use it for anything except for scanning for quite a while - buyer beware...!
Summary: Avoid lexmark products. Every time I have upgraded the firmware I have regretted it. Each time the printer has become more unresponsive. Now it simply doesn't show up as a wireless printer despite the fact that it worked in this capacity for at least 3 years before the last firmware upgrade. I will never buy another lexmark product as long as I live!!!! Also, the scanner on this only works if you are using windows (sorry mac and linux users).
Summary: This printer has given me trouble with the wireless connection ever since I bought it a little over 2 years ago. I've spent plenty of money on ink through Lexmark so I haven't seen huge ink savings. And recently it broke, jamming every time I try to print something. But since I didn't register the product in the first 90 days after I purchased it, Lexmark refuses to honor the warranty even though the receipt is here in Amazon and they could easily verify that I purchased...
Summary: I have had this printer for 3 years and it has funcctioned only intermittently. The print head has been replaced twice, several times per month the wireless capability fails for no apparent reason, and now it shoots out blank pages instead of printing (even with a new print head and lots of ink still in the cartridges.) DO NOT BUY this product. It is a colossal waste of time and money. What a disappointment. I will stick with HP next time.
Summary: I bought this printer because of the great cost of black ink and all the features (especially the auto feed scanner), and promptly had to get Lexmark on the phone because it didn't print (it wouldn't grab the paper). After an hour, they decided to send me a "new" one when sending back mine. The "new" printer was obviously refurbished because of marring and wear and tear. The printer worked for a while, then the WIFI went kapoot for no known reason. Fine. Plug it in.
Summary: This printer and all in one machine is great in theory. You get a flatbed scanner, it can save to a SD (and other) memory card, print to email, PDF, and so on. IF ANY OF THE 4 CARTRIDGES ARE EMPTY, IT WILL NOT PRINT. NOT EVEN IN BLACK AND WHITE. Absolute garbage, don't buy this. Don't support their ink racket.
Summary: Get this: in order to get a customer service rep to LISTEN to me I had to surrender control of my PC to some guy in some other country. The support rep then installed and ran some EXE's as I watched him remotely scamper around in my computer. What a security disaster! Does that sound fun? Never mind that he had no interest in hearing what steps and results I had already gone through.
Summary: This really is one of the most frustrating pieces of technology that I have ever purchased. From day one, scanning with this machine is an 30-90 minute ordeal. With almost every scan I have to either reboot the machine or troubleshoot some setting on the printer. Now the software installed on my mac crashes. Right now the machine is a brick for me. Troubleshooting this machine is extremely difficult.
Summary: Hello everybody The printer was ok in the beginning. But after some time: - wifi was not working any more -> only usb was working. - Printing black when the color cartridge is empty is not possible. After buying new color cartridge, color was going down very fast (in a month, half out) without printing in color.
Summary: I've had this printer for about a year and a half. At first, I liked the printer and the features that it had, but it just seemed to get worse and worse. I regularly have to clean the printhead, far more than I would expect. But unless I do that, it prints poorly. It has a lot of connectivity problems. Often, the computer just can't print to it. I reset everything, and then it works. It should be able to stay connected.
