Lexmark P915 Home Photo Printer
5 February 2011
Conclusion: The Lexmark P915 Home Photo Printer 6250 offers reasonable, but not outstanding, speed for the price, along with such ease-of-use features as ink-cartridge-loading instructions on the color LCD. Output quality, however, is in the middle-to-low range for ink jet printers.
Pros: Reasonably fast performance for both business applications and photos. Prints directly from cameras and memory cards.
Cons: Quality ratings are relatively low for an ink jet.
Excerpt: The Lexmark P915 is the least expensive inkjet here to offer memory card slots and a colour screen. Its 6.3cm display is as big as any in this group, and it has a good picture. Lexmark's install program is easy to understand. The P915 is sold with a three-ink photo and a three-colour cartridge, giving it six inks in total. This setup is great for printing photos, but it's slower and less economical than four inks when printing black text.
