Summary: By way of disclosure, I received a sample of this product for evaluation purposes. I have used various laser printers over the years and have owned a couple as well (Hewlett Packard LaserJet 2200D, OKI). This is the first Lexmark printer I've used, and it does not disappoint. It was easy to hook up to my PC. I used the ethernet port on the printer rather than USB.
Summary: This is a fantastic printer for the price. It's a very competent low cost small office printer. It's made for a small business setting but if you have a home setting where a lot of printing is done, such as kids with lots of projects and/or a home office this would do the trick too. Comments: - Fast: a max speed of 40 pages per minute due to an internal memory of 256MB and a 800MHz dual-core processor. Most of us in the home setting don't need such a speed.
Summary: This Lexmark MS410dn Mono Laser Printer is a solid choice for a small office. This is only Black & White and does not support Wi-Fi, but otherwise this has all of the basic features we need. Set up was very straight forward on our connected LAN, taking roughly 30-min from unboxing to network printing. There was a lot of tape and foam to remove, but the "Quick Start" Guide was easy enough to follow. Installation of the drivers for Network printing was smooth and easy.
Fast and (hopefully) more efficient than my photo printer!

Summary: This is an very good printer if you are looking for a black and white laser printer that is fast, efficient, prints quality text documents and is easy to set up! I use it for all of my black and white text printing needs. It also prints black and white images well--but for the most part I print my images on my Canon Photo Printer. You can connect this printer directly to your computer using a USB cable.
Summary: For a basic laser printer, this Lexmark model is a wonderful choice. I use it at home and it prints clear, crisp copies. It is really fast, even when duplexing. The paper tray holds a fair amount of paper, I’d say about three quarters of a ream, so there’s no need to frequently reload. The footprint is about the same as the other Lexmark and the Epson Workforce printers that I’ve recently used. Looking at it, my guess it’s about 15” by 15” and 12” high.

Summary: At the price point of this printer, you have a decent number of choices in terms of monochrome laser printers. In fact, you can monochrome laser printers with more functionality for as little as half the price. If you're looking for the cheapest solution for printing, you might want to look at one of those. This particular printer is more aimed at workgroup use.
