Summary: Another commenter talked about how difficult it is to set a static IP. I run all of mine static and I just plug it into a network that has DHCP running on it. At home this would likely be from your wireless router or modem.
Pros: Solid printer. Very fast. I've been impressed with the performance of lexmark printers. The setup is easy and the cost is great.
Cons: Toner cost. The cartridge is up to 5000 page yield now. That is an improvement over the e260's.
Summary: This is my second Lexmark printer, and the company never disappoints. What I like about his model is that is indicates when your toner cartridge is low on toner or the imaging unit needs to be replaced. It prints crisp printing.
Works fine as a standard laser printer, missing Wifi though

Summary: B&W laser printers that print only up to LTR and LGL size are a dime a dozen these days. The Lexmark sets up quick and is a competently fast and good quality printer. No surprises there. It doesn't stand out, but it does lack some features.
Summary: This is a black and white printer not color. It does not have wireless, no LCD screen, or a paper tray indicator level but what it is and does so well is print at really fast speeds at laser quality.
Excerpt: Prints fast front and back automatically. No need to reload the paper to print on the other side. Very easy to set up. Only thing I don't like about this lexmark ms310dn is that it isn't wireless meaning you have to hook it up via usb or Ethernet cord.
Pros: cheap black ink, easy set up, reasonable price, high paper capacity, wide range of ports, prints on a variety of papers, unison technology (never have to shake toner), easy swapping for the toner and imager
Cons: 36 lbs, no wireless, no screen, paper tray level indicator, no color
Excerpt: When I received my Lexmark MS310dn printer, I was disappointed in the enclosed documentation (no text, and woeful pictographs to identify the tape and other packing materials that needed to be removed.).
Pros: Fast, Good Value, quiet in rest mode
Cons: awful documentation, poor install, no cable, no cable identification
Excerpt: I'll update this review once I actually get to use the printer, but the documentation deserves its own review. Let's see. The best comment I can make is It "needs improvement". First, the unpacking instructions are inadequate.
Summary: I am the "IT" person for a small Vet clinic, and we ordered new reminder cards and they wouldn't print on our existing machine. The cards were such a good price and overall quality, just slightly thinner than our previous providers, that it was worth looking for a new unit.
