Summary: Lightweight but you expect it to be cheaply made for $100. The tray sometimes thinks it out of paper when it's not. I started out with only a few sheets so I'm sure that's the problem. I filled it up and it's done better. Easy to set up and works like a champ.
Excerpt: I purchased 20 of these printers to replace older lexmark printers in my enterprise and I could not be any happier. This model is the networking printer with a hardwired ethernet connection. There is also the option to make this a wireless printer with an optional adapater via Lexmark. These printers have so far been real workhorses as employees utilize them to the fullest potential.
Excerpt: Purchased 25 of these printers to replace older lexmark printers which had run their life and were more expensive to maintain. These will be the new workhorses for my company and so far everyone loves them. I do not understand the previous review as this model does have networking capabilities All of these printers are connected to my enterprise network so no matter where in the building employees are located, they have access to a printer.
Pros: Features, Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, networking
Excerpt: The printer has parallel, USB and ethernet connections. It does not have a wireless connection. I bought it to print shipping labels and packing slips. My HP ink jet printer was taking too long when sending to it and printing the pages. Now this printer puts out my labels and packing slips as fast as I can send them from my ebay business.
Excerpt: Once operating it is a good printer and the speed is excellent. It was difficult to get it to work with Windows 7 Pro. It just did not want to install as a network printer or as a wireless. This may be a trade mark of the Lexmark --I have always been on HP's. I bought a male a to male b and plugged it into my USB and the windows system loaded it .
Pros: clear and fast printing, good if you want a slave printer and not network
Cons: will not work on the network or as a wireless unit
Summary: This is my second Lexmark printer, and the company never disappoints. What I like about his model is that is indicates when your toner cartridge is low on toner or the imaging unit needs to be replaced. It prints crisp printing.
