Excerpt: For years we had difficulties with our state inspection machine printer. The inspection machine company issued printer was very unreliable. To make matters worse, they used an ink cartridge that had a chip in it and you could only buy it from them. This meant that regardless of the ink level, once the chip maxed out on the print outs, it was done. Ridiculous! Finally they told us to go get one ourselves because their's was unreliable. Really?!
Summary: it's a pretty decent printer which supports up to 35ppm and dual side printing. The setup instruction in the manual is a little bit confusing, but what you need to do is just detaching all the foam/tape/paper before using it. Printed a few pages and it is fast (about 4-5 seconds initial time) compared to my old Minolta 1350w and printing quality is pretty good.
Excerpt: Once it's up and running it seems to be a good printer. Print quality is great and speed is adequate for a small medical office. Annoyed with set-up because user manual states this model has wireless capability if you buy a specific adapter (which I bought) but when I got it in the mail and tried to attach it, it attaches with a USB port, which the printer does not have.
Summary: Love this printer! Was easy to set up and does the job. Seems much faster than my old printer - as soon as I hit print, it's working - happy not to have to wait as I am printing many documents a day.
Summary: This printer is one of the most reliable laser printers out there. Lexmark is known for building enterprise type devices that will withstand the most rugged environments. It is super fast, handles heavy paper types, and the image quality is amazing. Everything about this printer screams quality and durability.
Summary: I print on plain paper and also print checks throughout the day. This printer can only be set to pull from the Manual Feed tray OR from Tray 1. I currently have the printer setup to print from the Manual tray, but it will not print from tray 1 unless I send at least one piece of paper through the Manual Feed Tray first. (Otherwise I have to change the printer settings in the computer every time I want to print a check.
