Summary: Lexmark printer looks good but is more of a pain than an asset. Initially purchased for my daughter to use at her college, she eventually gave it back to me and took my office HP printer instead. Ink runs out quickly and all must be replaced before it will print again. Within the first year of purchase had to call support to have the printer head replaced twice. Turns on randomly throughout the day - kind of spooky initially until you get used to it.
Summary: Have had the s500 series printer for a year now and it is by far the worst printer I have ever dealt with. WiFi connectivity is sporadic at best. Support is essentially useless. When it does finally decide to print, the ink flows extremely fast. The scan function is the only feature that works on a consistent basis.
Summary: This is the worst printer I have ever owned. I got it for free with my computer and it was overpriced. The wireless connection is fussy, it uses ink every time you turn it on or off (without printing anything), the ink is expensive and can't be refilled, it dries out easily, and worst of all, it won't print unless every ink cartridge has ink. So if you run out of yellow, forget printing a simple black and white page of text.
Summary: I purchased the Lexmark S505 and it worked fine first week, very pleased. Make a long story short, it is needs a 3rd! print head. The one that came with it when purchased was replaced within the first two weeks of having this printer (it's my work printer and I need one on a daily basis). Regardless of the first print head being covered under warranty, it took way too long for customer service to act upon fixing it.
Summary: This review is from: Lexmark Intuition S505 Wireless Multifunction Inkjet Printer (Office Product) I bought this printer in 2012 for my home office. It worked well on my wireless network. It was easy to setup and install. I consider myself an advanced technologist when it comes to software and hardware, but the bad thing about Lexmark printers is their PROPRIETARY PRINTER CARTRIDGE DISABLING TECHNOLOGY.

Summary: Wireless stopped working after a month. It doesn't print in only black when I push the button to print in only black. Even if there is black ink, it won't print until all the cartridges are full. Even if one color is empty, it won't print. It guzzles ink. It is the bane of my existence and I can't wait to throw it out the window. I will NEVER buy a Lexmark again.
I will probably go back to HP for my next printer.

Summary: I bought this to replace a Lexmark that had quit working. The price was reasonable, so I made the purchase. The quality is about the same as my previous printer. What I miss is the automatic feed. I had over $100.00 of ink to use up, so my main reason for staying with Lexmark.
