Summary: It's been working perfectly. No problems....Love it...I'm a teacher so having my own high-yeild printer at home has made my life so much easier. The price was so minimal I don't know why I didn't purchase it earlier...but as always, the toner will get you so look for bulk deals.
Maintenance needs PC kits also. Don't cancel a print job though.

Summary: 3/4/2014 UPDATE on this printer - a few months ago, the printer was getting stray markings, shadows, not a clean print. And today it says it needs a PC Kit. So one needs to consider these PC kits E260X22G in addition to toner costs when comparing cost to another printer. LEXMARK had me wipe out the inside of the printer with a dry cloth, which improved the print some. She said I also need the new PC kit to clean up the printouts.
I CAN'T BEAT THIS Lexmark E460DN Printer Deal with a STICK!
THE AUTISTIC WEREWOLF "Wolf", Amazon

Summary: I brought this Printer used from an AMAZON.COM seller for $150.00. I brought additional memory for the printer. I honestly expected to get taken advantage of but; the printer worked. The printer was not new and it had that tired refurbished look to it. I took this raggity looking Lexmark E460DN Printer out of the box expecting it to be junk. I plugged in the Lexmark E460DN Printer expecting it to give me error codes.
Summary: We made the mistake of buying the T650 for another person in our office. This does at least as good of a job, and is about half the money (at least it was half the money after shopping around.) It doesn't take up as much room, it's quick, and the print quality is very good. Very good for your small office or home office.
Summary: Previously loyal to HP for decades, then bought a Lexmark 5 years ago. Since have owned about 6 B&W laser printers. Just replaced an older E232 with the E460dn. SWEET! Half the time you don't know it's even 'on.' Silent even when it prints! Fast, no hang up's, clean and efficient. Ideal home office printer. Love the double side printing, saves reams of paper. Lexmark is cornering the market, while HP is a sleeping giant living off it's past.
Summary: This printer has a major defect in the toner/photoconductor design. If the toner/photoconductor is not removed properly the connections are easily damaged. If they are damaged the part is not replaceable and not under warranty. You will have to replace the printer. Granted, this issue is caused by improper use so I understand Lexmark's stance. I just want to make sure no one else wastes their money on this poorly designed "printer".
