No matter how pristine and perfect the envelope this happens

short guy, Amazon
  • Summary: When trying to use the manual paper feeder for single envelopes the paper jam light comes on. No matter how pristine and perfect the envelope this happens, even though there does not appear to be any jam in reality. So no envelope printing with this printer is possible.

Reliable workhorse

Amazon Customer "John", Amazon
23 November 2014
  • Summary: This is my most reliable printer. It never disappoints. The toner also lasts much longer than other printers I've had, which I greatly appreciate. If I get an error message due to lack of paper, etc, I can rely on it to fix itself quickly after a reboot. The paper prints fast. It's simple to use. It's rare to get a solidly built tech product like this.

Advertised as a network ready printer but was not able ...

Joanne Lynch, Amazon
15 July 2014
  • Summary: Advertised as a network ready printer but was not able to be added to our network. Apparently it had a previous IP address installed and could not be reset for our network. We had our in-house IT person work on it and our outside IT contractor and neither could get it set up on the network. The return minus shipping was only going to be about half of what we paid for the printer so we just kept it as a non-network printer.

Worst printer ever.

Capt Phil, Amazon
27 December 2013
  • Summary: I will never buy or recommend a Lexmark product, again. This one failed after less than 2000 copies, and no one, including Lexmark, will support or repair it. If I could return it I would. A piece of junk.

Printer worked but parts were missing

James D. Nichols, Amazon
19 November 2013
  • Summary: The printer worked well after adding a photo-conductor kit and a toner cartridge, Neather were supplied with the printer. The toner cartridge wasn't a surprise, but the photo-conductor kit should have been in the printer already, as those are not in stock in most stores and if I didn't have an old printer handy for parts, would have been a problem.

Excelent product

Ron Harris, Amazon
14 October 2013
  • Summary: Installs easily and does exactly what you expect from a laser printer. The starter cartridge will give about100+ pages. Get a refill kit before the cartridge runs out.

Bought this for my office

laura a wallace, Amazon
7 October 2013
  • Summary: Works great. Did not realize it does not copy until I spent an hour trying to figure how to copy. It runs out of ink with no low ink warning so you have to have another cartridge available . But it does print multiple pages very quickly and with great quality. The wifi works great as we have 3 computers in our office. Price was reasonable as I have grown to expect from Amazon.

Good value for the money

DPW, Amazon
25 January 2013
  • Summary: We now have a total of 15 of these throughout our business. They are realiable and cost per page to print was very competive when you compare to ink jet or HP laser printers. We use these in locations that will print 200 to 400 pages per day. Other locations where volume is higher we put in higher capacity printers.
