Great printer--have had no problems in 6+ years!!

Darwyn Klatt, Amazon
3 February 2007
  • Summary: I've had my E210 for at least 6 years now and have not had one problem with it. I print mostly text, though some graphics at times, and it has performed remarkably well. I have had no paper jams, ever, and I am just now replacing the toner cartridge for the 2nd time. Unlike another review here, I've gotten way more than 500 pages with this cartridge.

Lexmark E210 laser printer

sbtaxpro, Ebay
3 July 2006
  • Summary: I purchased two of these printers at a discounted price ($100) about three years ago. THIS IS NOT A 19 PAGE PER MINUTE PRINTER!!! It will print at its fastest speed about 12 pages per minute on 8-1/2 by 11 paper. The first printer lasted about 30,000 pages and only needs a minor repair. I bought several cartridges ($75-85.00 ea.) before I discovered the cheap cartridge refills on ebay.

Excellent laser printer for the home or small office

  • Summary: I got one Lexmark E210 two years ago...It was refurbished by Lexmark. It came in brand new box and looks like brand new except the little label that says it is refurbished by Lexmark. ... I think Lexmark did a good job on this one. I have been using this one all this time with an average of 500 page per month (last six month I'm using it for almost 1000 pages/month )..Never had a problem... Just a little thing to mention I had a paper jam one or twice.

No paper jams, great printer

Valentin Juhasz, Amazon
25 March 2005
  • Summary: I owned this printer for over 2 years now and I had NO paper jams for at least a year. Very reliable, nice print quality, sharp text and images. When the printer power's supply went bed in the first year Lexmark sent me promptly a replacement printer which I still have it now. Great customer service. On the toner/ink side. Original toner is quite expensive (around $70/cartridge), better go online and buy it on ebay.

Save your money, don't get this printer.

Some guy in California, Amazon
10 February 2004
  • Summary: Don't get this printer. Yes, the printer is inexpensive. But the toner cartridges are expensive and you'll pay for it in the long run. The Lexmark website says the toner cartridge is good for 2000 sheets at 5% page coverage (at $100/cartridge, that's 5 cents/sheet). Don't believe it. My wife gets maybe five hundred pages printed (just double-spaced typing) before parts of the page starts fading (so we're paying 20 cents/sheet).

Great Printer

Brad Holt, Amazon
29 July 2003
  • Summary: This was my first laser printer and I love it. The set-up was easy and fast, the print quality is good, and the speed is excellent. I was concerned about only printing in B&W, so I left my ink-jet connected as well. I was surprised with how few documents I printed that needed color. I hardly ever use my ink-jet now, as I can't stand to wait on it. The cartridges are on the expensive side, but it was over a year with moderate printing until I had to replace it.

Cheapest Laser I've ever seen

"rea000", Amazon
19 March 2003
  • Summary: This is a decent laser printer that handles text well and has only jammed once despite going through several thousand pages and numerous sheets of labels. Pros -Price -- I got mine for $75 from office depot after a coupon and rebate -text quality Cons -Graphics quality: not the greatest, don't buy it if you have to print anything with graphics -Ink cost: pretty high cost per page If you can get this for under 100, go for it, otherwise, get another printer with less...

Great to Have a Laser Again

Noah D. Karchmer "hawknoah", Amazon
27 May 2002
  • Summary: I was looking for a giveaway deal to replace my inkjet which stopped feeding paper. It's possible to find steals on inkjets, in fact it can be cheaper to replace the whole printer itself than the ink cartridge (which is where the money is made). However when I saw a great deal on the Lexmark e210 and read countless positive online reviews about it, I couldn't pass it up. Setup was simple- it was working in less than five minutes.
