Summary: I bought this printer to replace an older Lexmark C540n. All I can say is what an upgrade. Fast and beautiful color and black and white documents. It is also much quieter than the older model. Extremely easy to setup on my Mac network. It automatically downloaded all the drivers needed to operate. Never used the included CD. I was surprised to see AirPrint included as a nice bonus for printing from iPhones and iPads. (Works great).
Summary: I haven't used it very much yet and will most likely never use it to its capability. Clear crisp prints are produced. It is easy to set up on eithernet or USB cables. I bought this printer because it had a high rating from other users and the company has been around for a long time with a rep.
Summary: Upgraded firmware, started up 'Live chat', sat there for half an hour w/ no one responding. Called up their phone support line. Get told that due to emergency conditions, they cannot take my call right now. Maybe they got stuck in the typhoon in the Philippines.
Pros: Doesn't take up much space, fast.
Cons: Unpacked it today, set it up, printed a demo page. Looked like I was wearing emerald coloured glasses.
Summary: The fan has a loud growling sound when it's on but since we don't print that much color it's not that big of a problem for me and I set the power management to sleep quickly so it's never on that long. It's probably just my unit since I've never heard a fan that sounds like that. I will look into replacing it in the future.
Excerpt: This machine prints color documents very quickly with great image quality. It has been easy to maintain as well as set up. We got this machine for speed, and it doesn't fail in that requirement.
