Summary: The printer doesn't work so well on your network when you assign it a duplicate IP address as another device on the network. And that, folks, is 100% my fault, not the printer's. Explains why it took 8 hours to print the test page I sent it. Once I resolved that, everything is fine.
Pros: Amazingly deep feature set for an inexpensive printer. I was really amazed at all the configurable options on this beast. Printing is quick, and text is razor sharp. Color prints are clean and clear, but you won't find any laser printer that compares to a high-quality ink jet when it comes to pri...
Cons: Drivers and utilities from Lexmark seem redundant and confusing; it's hard to figure out what to download from Lexmark, and when to use what files and utilities. Also, the printer driver defaults to duplex printing; if you want single-sided printing, you have to change it in the driver.
Summary: I haven't had this printer long enough to know how long the cartridges will last. But it prints beautifully and have not had any problems with it so far. I had a Minolta laser previously and it consistently had issues.
great printer for the money, manuel tray feeder is not great.

Summary: Works great. Very quick printing. I"m glad it comes with a silent mode for my home office. I don't like the mode of feeding one sheet at a time in the manuel loading tray especially when you have many sheets to print. The manuel feed doesn't always feed in exactly straight either.
Summary: Makes absolutely great prints for graphic design. On the other hand, the ink cartridges seem to need resetting, and drivers updating, and stuff needs taking apart and cleaning, and it's a bit of a hassle, especially if you your frustration quotient is higher than your technical ability.
Summary: So far so good. I primarily use the color function of this printer as a "close" proof unit for my ad specialty customers. I have yet to do the color calibration so what I see onscreen is what we get on the page, but we aren't printing magazines or portraits here. Set up was a snap.
