Summary: I owned this printer for a few weeks. I was printing brochure pages on glossy paper and the printer turned all of the white areas grey. I tried al of their customer service suggestions none of which helped. Finally, after sending print samples to Lexmark they admitted it was a known problem with the printer however only certain people noticed the "graying".
Summary: I purchased this printer for my office and have not been happy with it. It is simple to set up, comes at a great price, but unfortunately something is up with the red toner alignment. I've done a couple of calibrations, remove the toner and shake trick, etc. and still I have inconsistent application of toner in the red areas. I cannot recommend this printer.
eats toner and photoconductor much faster then spec
12 March 2008
Summary: The black toner started showing low warnings at about 2500 pages and at 2800 the toner ran out - the capacity is supposed to be 4000 pages. I had similar issues with the colour toner as well. Life expectancy for colour toner is roughly 50%. This is ridiculous. On top of this the photoconductors life is also tending towards under 50%. Basically this means that this printer will cost twice as much as you expect in real life.
Horrible experience with Lexmark C532N until Amazon saved the day
2 March 2008
Summary: I bought this printer after reading a number of good reviews on other websites. Regrettably, my experience with this equipment was horrible. The installation went smoothly, and the printer produced nice output right away. After about an hour away doing something else, I returned to print another job. When I sent the Word document to the printer, my PC crashed and began to reboot.
Summary: I too had the "graying" problem that one other review mentioned. I found that replacing the black toner fixed the problem for a while, but that means replacing the toner cartridge before it is empty! In general the printer eats toner rapidly and the replacement cartridges are costly. It has turned out to be very expensive to operate. A definite "do not buy" recommendation from me!
an overall good printer for those looking to do excess printing

Excerpt: A fantastic product before this we had a Lexmark X2550 which was ok but for the amount of printing I do for my own business was no good. The quality of the print from the C532n is very high and although it isn't a photo printer it does print your snaps off at good quality. The speed of the printer is quick although I have found when printing images for a poster it does seem to wait a while but I guess it's more difficult for it.
