Summary: The FS-C5150dn is an excellent printer overall, let down by only two things. First, it's start-up time is quite long, mine takes about 2 minutes to be ready to print. If, like me, you switch your printer off between (infrequent) prints, then this can be annoying. Second, it's huge, particularly depth. Check the dimension before you buy. Apart from that, the print quality and speed is superb, and Kyocera's running cost are pretty much the best in the industry.
Summary: This printer has earned it's place in our home office. We bought it to replace an older laser printer we'd inherited that was a real pain-in-the-neck. The print quality is excellent, printer cartridges are expensive but no more so that every other colour laser of this quality. Overall, the quality of our printed documents, hand-out etc has increased significantly and, in turn, makes us as company look better.
Summary: I've been using this as a home office printer for about 3 months and it's been good. Print quality is high with only minor page curling when using good quality paper. (90-100gsm) It's fantastic for uni reports and essays. The web interface is useful and has many good features like job tracking, emailing on low toner etc. Toner cartridges are good for 2800 prints which is a big bonus.
Summary: So far it has done everything we've wanted to a very high standard. It may not be the fastest (s)printer off the blocks but at the price it is excellent value. We are retired and run a music festival, so value and quality are more important than the speed required in a busy office.
Summary: Although a bit fiddly to get installed it was well worth the effort. I was expecting good things from kyocera and haven't been disappointed. The print quality is exceptional, the duplex works a dream and the whole thing is good to go right out of the box.
Summary: It took a bit of effort to install but it was worth the time and effort. The print quality is exceptional, subject to using quality paper. The duplex and booklet printing comes as standard, which are often optional extras with many other products.
Summary: I've now had this printer for about a month and so far it has met all expectations. It was easy to set up on the network and drivers for Macs and Linux boxes were easy to install. Print quality has been good, even photos on glossy photo card - certainly good enough for display and promotional purposes. If one is looking for a functional network printer with duplex look no further. One thing to bear in mind, you do need to make some space as it is quite large.
