Summary: We have one of these in our office and have had nothing but problems. The memory issue, we added memory; then we updated our driver. And it still fails, won't print, you wait and a minute or so later you get your print out. it also shuts down when it feels like it. our printer tech (new company from our previous errors) says to put it on the network, but I see from what is on here that would also be a waste of time.
Summary: This printer has been a real workhorse for our accounting dept. This one replaced our old one that was several years old and trouble free until it finally gave it up and toners last for several months. That's why we bought another one just like it.
Summary: I have 3 of these in my office. Haven't had a single issue with them. I have them connected through the network, each with their own IP. Once woken up,(I disabled sleep mode) prints very quickly; First page is printed in under 10 seconds from hitting print. I have never had a memory full message, despite printing reports with thousands of pages. Only had it jam once and it was my fault.
Summary: 1. Forget about adding another paper tray. With an additional tray attached, it prints maybe 5 pages per minute. Nowhere NEAR the 45ppm advertised. Even with the two trays in the printer, you'll get 20 ppm at best. 2. Constantly getting memory full error. This can be fixed with a simple driver upgrade... but good luck installing it! Drivers which are 3 years old WILL NOT install on Windows 64-bit platform. 3.
Summary: Background: We hooked this baby up for our workgroup network with 4 workstations and 1 server. OS used: Win 7s and Window Server Edition Long story short, we've encountered issues after issues with getting it to print. The hardware is 5 stars, however, the software and support center is beyond failure. Expect to be on hold for 30 mins at minimum when calling their call center.
Summary: We bought the Pagepro 5650 45PPM when our Phaser 3600 died. We are a high-volume printer at [...] and can print upwards of 1500 sheets a week. This printer made it impossible to do our job as there is a 2 to 3 minute lag between each job queued. We returned the printer and returned to the Xerox Phaser 3600.
