Beyond dire

ShadyAidy, CNET
10 October 2014
  • Summary: I bought this primarily because Kodak advertised it as having one of (if not the) lowest running cost of any inkjet. Just how wrong can you be?
  • Pros: Absolutely none. This is only fit for the rubbish tip
  • Cons: Rubbish Wifi, poor print quality, door drivers, extraordinarily high ink use, noisy, slow and dreadful

Sharp and clear pictures from Kodak!

irmaft, Ebay
5 March 2014
  • Summary: This printer makes the BEST pictures!! They are clear and sharp whereas other printers I've seen have made fuzzy pictures. Kodak prints the best plus the ink is a lot less expensive and also lasts longer. I have two and hope they last forever because Kodak no longer makes printers. The printhead does have to be replaced sometimes, but I don't want any other printer!

Junk Machine, not worth the money or your time.

jkimbrell46, CNET
21 November 2013
  • Summary: I'll never buy another Kodak product ever. It's not the quality that they claimed it was and they do not stand behind their products.I've spent a fortune on printheads and replacement cartridges and in just over a year I have printed less than 200 pages. Now the cartridge jams and the printer does not work.
  • Pros: There are no pros.
  • Cons: I've spent more time on the phone to Kodak uninstalling and reinstalling software than any other printer I have ever used.

Going round in circles with assistance

saildorset, CNET
6 March 2013
  • Summary: Not sure I should have to spend more money on a fairly unused printer. Is this the way of re-couping money from a generally fair priced unit at point of sale?
  • Pros: Nice looking unit, compact and works generally fine with PC on wi-fi
  • Cons: Disappointed with ink consumption. Maybe a tad cheaper than some other products but now am getting poor colour prints, very muddy, dull. Text is more grey than black., I have not used unit much due to costs, told buy new printhead. short lived head !!

Always runs out of ink

SamSSalmons, CNET
18 December 2012
  • Summary: We print maybe 5 pages (mostly text) at most per week and we're swapping _both_ the color and b/w cartridges every 3 months. And, the printer will not allow you to print in b/w when the color cartridge is out and vice versa - what a poor design!
  • Pros: Good print/scan quality.
  • Cons: As others have said, this printer is constantly running out of ink.

Good for target practice..

BalladTheDuck, CNET
21 August 2012
  • Summary: I have had this printer for less than 2 years and it has been one big failure. I've never had a printer fail on me before getting 5 or more years of use out of it until now.
  • Pros: No paper jams but it would print 2 or more pages at once. Kind of a half pro, i guess.
  • Cons: Constant problems with the printer head, Too difficult to use Wi-Fi, Too many updates, Runs out of ink far too easily

  • Summary: MY KODAK 5300 PRINTER DIED AFTER 8 YEARS. I LOVE KODAK, BECAUSE OF THE PRICE ON THE INK IS THE LOWEST HAVE HAVE SEEN. I LOVE THE WIRELESS FEATURE THE 5250 HAS, I ALWAYS WANTED A WIRELESS PRINTER AND IT WAS EASY TO SETUP. I CAN BE IN THE BASEMENT AND PRINT ANYTHING I WANT. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. ALL I CAN SAY IS I LOVE THIS PRINTER.
