Summary: One of the reasons I decided to purchase this printer was the "lowest cost" for ink refills. That is true but what they don't tell you is that you run out of ink twice as fast as my old HP. Print quality is fine - pictures I've printed are very good quality. But if you try to print in black only as I do for most of my printing, you run out of color ink at the same rate as black. Obviously it uses the color ink whether you want to or not.
Summary: I was not able to use this printer since I purchased it until today. I am not very happy with it. I have always used HPs but decided on a Kodak because I am going to do a lot of printing/copy photos. Since I've started touse it I've noticed it is load, it uses way more ink, thequality of the photos aren't the best, takes longer to print then any of the HPs I've had. There is also an issue with the paper sticking/jamming in the printer.
Summary: I like this printer and it works pretty well. The only gripes I have concern how overly simplified the settings are. There are no real options for changing things around and it just strikes me as overly dumned down. The ink is cheaper than other models (great thing)and I suggest using a heavier paper than the common type (20# gets jambed easily when wet).
Summary: After service care was poor and mis-managed. Great at printing but liable to break downs even on moderate use. Expensive to repair. Bulky. 2nd one in <3 years. Cartridges are cheaper than most BUT run out relatively quickly. Self refill is an arduous task as the ship on the back on the cartridge also has to be replace making self refill only financially viable if heavy printing at which point, it may be cheaper to pay someone commercially to do it for you on odd jobs...
Summary: I purchased this printer for two reasons. 1/ The ink cartridges are cheaper than most. 2/ It will do double sided. It comes with the normal printer combination features allowing you to copy, scan etc.. It also has a FAX feature which in this day and age is less of a must. The two major moans I have are: 1/ It chews up paper like a British Bulldog with a compulsive chewing disorder! I have just printed off a 22 page document and had to recover chewed up sheets twice!
Summary: Difficult to set up and kept losing contact with my WiFi network, a lot of movement when in use, print quality could be better, and the worst of all it marked all the pages, and ripped some pages and jammed continually, returned within a week for a refund, very disapointed. The ink is cheap but bear in mind you are only replacing the ink tanks and not the print heads. it may have been a rogue unit but I have gone back to a Lexmark even at very high ink prices.
