Photography Review

  • Summary: Really good printer. Low cost, low cost ink. good quality prints. I recommend buying kodak paper to go with this printer for photo's. This is a great printer for around the house, I haven't had any problems with it.
  • Pros: Price for performance nothing beats this printer, For home and family pictures - great printer
  • Cons: max size is 8.5 x 11 - ( im an amateur photographer, but id have to pay alot more if I wanted to print large sizes)., Only 4 color cartridge means there are better quality photo printers out there, but they are all more expensive and have more expensive ink.

Awful beyond belief

Matthew McDade, Amazon
10 June 2010
  • Summary: This printer has cost me more grief than any other. It runs out of ink very quickly, is very heavy and the scanner function does not work unless there is ink in the cartridges. The software is quite unwieldy too!

Truly awful

Phil, Amazon
8 June 2010
  • Summary: The print quality seemed good - at first. It consumes ink in vast quantities (so not such great value as advertised.) The colour ink level reduces even when you only print black text (don't ask me?!

Much better printers out there

SBSB, Amazon
3 April 2009
  • Summary: Purchased this as it was on offer at the time and we have a Kodak camera so figured a Kodak printer would be a good match. Have just gotten rid of it after much frustration. Print quality was poor, colour appeared washed out, contacted Kodak who sent instructions on downloading new/updated software,...

Worth The Money

The Major "Big Lee", Amazon
29 January 2009
  • Summary: I was given this as a gift from my Mother. It was a bugger to install on Vista HP SP1, however once that was out-of-the-way I was rocking. Ink is cheap and contrary to other opinions lasts sometime, so far the O.E.M.

Shocking !!! Don't be tempted

Giles, Amazon
1 January 2009
  • Summary: What a shocking bit of kit. Do not buy one of these. Two fundamental problems: 1) the printer will not operate if it believes the ink cartridges are close to empty - and despite replacing them it still tells me they are close to empty - and guess what?
