Excerpt: I use the basic drivers which doesn't have all the bloatware or ink pop-ups. The only downside to the basic driver is that you have to initiate scanning from the computer instead of the printer. Wifi was pretty quick/easy to set up. I get almost as many prints after the printer tells me to...
Summary: Still can't get it to talk to my router (probably my problem, not the printer), but otherwise, typical HP great product. Hope the inks don't dry out in the heads after one year from infrequent use like the brother and epson that it's replacing ... time will tell.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Use, Fast Operation, Great Print Quality
Summary: We are using it to scan and print old photos as well as new photos that we have just taken. My wife had a patience problem with our old printer as she did not like waiting for the print to start. This starts quickly and even though it isn't the fastest printer, the print quality more than makes up for it.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Great Print Quality, Reliable
Excerpt: I have been a student for two years now and until now have managed to get away without buying a printer by using on-site facilities. Due to a change in circumstances I have now enrolled at the Open University, hence the need for a decent printer. As I will be using it a lot, I decided that I would go for a more expensive and (hopefully!) more reliable machine.
Pros: Simple to use, reliable, wireless, touch screen .
Cons: Scanner lid doesn't fit tightly so can cause shadows on prints .
