Prints directly on DVDs with a white coating -- prints excellent 4x6 photos too. Fast draft on ordinary paper saves ink.

Summary: Too bad that HP has discontinued this printer. I bought this as a backup. I use my first printer to print images from frame captures of videos on the cover of DVDs. Makes a classy finishing touch to a DVD.
Summary: This is the last of the affordable printers that actually print on the face of a CD. Instead of sticking on a lable, printing on the disc looks much more presentable and doesn't add thickness which can jam some players.
Summary: I bought this printer for one main reason.. dvd/cd printing. I printed over 100 dvds with this thing and every single one looked just like a retail dvd. The speed is great, the colors are sharp! The few negatives i have, aren't so bad since i still rated this a 5, but here they are.

Summary: Being able to select and print my own photos, with clear and beautiful colors is beyond great.I don't need to fool with getting in my auto and heading anywhere...it's right at my fingertips. WONDERFUL
