    • Inexpensive; onboard duplexer; can print directly on the surface of special CDs and DVDs.
    • No onboard photo editing options; no PictBridge port; print quality needs lots of improvement.

    Summary: I used HP Printers for years and loved them. I brought my newest home, and from the start it failed. It told me I had a paper jam. No, it had never sucked up any paper. It told me a door was open, there were no open doors. It told me I was out of ink (brand new cartridge). No matter what I did, it refused to work. It is now back in its box, waiting for the return trip to the store. I never did get a print out of it. Read more

    Have used HP for years, along with Canon and Epson inkjets. I got this particular printer from a rewards program in order to use it as a photo printer. First printer was sent back - Cartridge wasn't detected. Now, I'm no noob - I gave it a good shake, troubleshot the problem for a WEEK - searched forums, HP support, new cartridges, reset the printer - NOTHING. Sent it back, got a new one. On the new one, the duplexer doesn't work. Read more

    Mine came free with a PC purchase. The 3 in 1 that I was supposed to get was out of stock, and I was offered this model with the option to swap it out when the 3 in 1 was back in stock. I am keeping this. Watch for this unit to go on sale at Neweeg and buy it. Read more
