Summary: I purchased to the printer to take with me on trips and to do simple small jobs at home. It is small light weight and easy to use It worked well including the many features such as croping, custom printing and lettering. The only concerns are that the ink cartridges run out quickly and the directions are appearently written for those who don't need them.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Reliable
Summary: I had this printer and a new cartridge sent to me while on vacation so I could print photos on the go. The "introductory" ink cartridge printed only one photo , all in RED, So I installed the new cartridge. The photos and extras like touch screen, editing, frames all were great. However, I only got 44 4x6 photos from a $20 cartridge. That puts the cost at 45cents each. Way too much! So I returned the printer. Loved the unit, hated the cost per photo.
Summary: This is wonderful for even the novice to be able to create such photo's from your home or where ever you are. Take it with you and get instant satisifaction! The magnitude of opportunities this printers offers is better than Wal-mart and all from your home!!This is for anyone who wants to have control of their photo's and get excited with the pic's they have taken.
Pros: Compact Design, Creative software, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Low Ink Consumption
Summary: So whats up with a vendor like HP cheaping out on the printer cartridge in a brand new printer? This was bought as a gift and for the record, it's my third HP personal printer. The other two came with real cartridges and this one has an "introductory" printer cartridge good for a whole 10 prints. HP, dont bend over backwards for the customer. This is a real shame because the printer really does work pretty well and it is a smaller footprint than the Epson.
when did it become acceptable for a company to not include a real printer cartridge w/ the printer?

Summary: This printer is small, it can print directly from a usb flash drive (I haven't tried printing from other sources yet), and the photos look good (although I have only tried B&W so far). The main reason that I'm rating it as a 2 is because it comes w/ an introductory printer cartridge, instead of a real cartridge. I've bought at least 3 printers in the past, none of them HP, and they all came w/ a regular cartridge.
