Great printer for photos you can frame or share!

lexicus, Ebay

  • Summary: I'll make this very brief -- I am very technically minded and you can trust my brief assessment because I also have experience to back my views up. PORTABILITY: The printer came in a bag reminiscent (in volume and weight) of an SLR camera bag that would hold a full-size body AND an extra lens. About six times the volume of a fanny pack (twice as high and deep, 1.5x as wide). It's something my wife leaves in the trunk, but you wouldn't want to carry it for miles on foot.

Small and Handy

Veritas513, Amazon
13 September 2008
  • Summary: Like most HP printers this product is well-engineered and performs its function admirably. It is stylish with a small footprint and works well as a companion to my HP 1020 Laser Printer. The only complaint I have is the software that comes with it can be annoying. It will pop-up at inopportune times and isn't overly intuitive. Pretty much a standard HP product with excellent hardware and sub-par software.

Not for Windows ME

Classic Trek Fan "JWB", Amazon
20 February 2008
  • Summary: This is a great little printer, but be forewarned. If you want to use it with a PC, there are two discs that come with it. One is labeled Vista, the other 98, ME, 2000, XP. I have an ME PC. When I tried to load the ME disc, it said it REQUIRES XP. So, if you want to use it directly with a camera (the memory card from the camera), you're OK. But if you need your PC and it has 98 or ME, forget it!

Great Product

  • Summary: This is a great product. I bought it for my wife on her birthday, amazing quality!! The settings are so detailed, you can selcet your paper type and the printer will actually print differently for the paper type you are using. The selection of photo sizes is great. Overall amazing product! The only reason that I didn't give it a 5....it won't make me coffee in the morning.

Does the Job

M. Mendelson, Amazon
14 July 2007
  • Summary: I bought this printer to use during a sixth grade graduation party so we could give the kids pictures of themselves with their friends. Overall, I was very happy with the printer. It's lightweight, quick and easy to set up and produces crisp color images. But I am disappointed that it takes about 50 seconds to print one 4 X 6 print and not "up to 39 seconds" as the product description states.

Great little printer, BUT...

V. Arnold, Amazon

  • Summary: My mother in law bought one of these printers for each of her kids. She also bought a jump drive for us to use with it. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with it. We are really disappointed about that, I'm even going to see if there are some special drivers we need to load or something to get the jump drive to work. So make sure your jump drive works with it BEFORE you buy it. Also, it doesn't work with my sister in law's smart media card. That was a bummer too.
