Summary: Since this is one of HP's older Photosmart printers, customers will likely be looking at it from third party sellers, either new or used, so I thought it would be helpful to report on how this printer works four years after purchase. And yes, it still works.
Summary: This photo printer is also easy to use when printing regular stuff, like documents, web pages, etc. The printer's performance is nice, including the fact that you can insert your camera's memory card (CompactFlash, SanDisk, MS, or XD) directly into it for printing.
Summary: I just picked this printer up, because it was pretty inexpensive. Boy, did it blow my socks off. As far a print quality goes, this was very good. I gave old pictures to family members for Christmas, and they all enjoyed them thoroughly. It was also very easy to install.
Summary: I thought I would write a review now that I have used this printer ALOT for the past 10 months. My hubby gave the HP photoprinter 8250 to me for my birthday in October 2006. This printer is fantastic as far as set up, ease of use, and quality of photos.
Summary: I didn't realize how often I print just one or two envelopes. Having to remove all the paper first makes it a pain.
Pros: Quick printing. Separate ink cartridges allows replacement of just one at a time.
Cons: 1. Printing envelopes requires you to remove all the paper first. 2. It's loud and moves the whole table when it prints. 3. The memory card slots will read cards, but the PC can't see them. 4. It seems fairly large.
