Summary: We were looking for a 2nd HP Photosmart 8050 Printer because we have been satisfied with the one we've had for a couple years, and wanted to use the same print cartridges with both of the printers. We didn't want one of the space-eating printers that are so common (and relatively inexpensive) now. This delivered quickly, was as represented, and was a decent value (or we wouldn't have ordered it). No complaints, satisfied customer.
Summary: I bought this for my wife so she could print high quality pictures of our new grandson. Within minutes of setting it up she was printing away. It is easy to use and frankly does as good if not better job than with professional print shops. For the price you can not go wrong with this product.
Summary: I had one before that broke. It was easiest just to buy the exact same model. It is a decent printer except for its envelope feeding capabilities (which stink). If you need to print lots of envelopes I recommend getting a printer that does NOT wrap the envelope around the drum but feeds them through straight while it prints.
Summary: This printer came just in time for me. We needed to replace another HP printer that just completely stopped working. I also wanted a photo printer as we were going to print one of our engagement photos for our wedding invitation. So far, I love this computer. The pictures do take a while to print however, they look gorgeous! Especially on the HP Premium Photo paper. And I have not had a problem with anything smearing when I was printing on vellum.
Summary: Hewlett Packard's 8050 is a current supply and demand unit operative at the needed peak capacity, of today's home or office, and the Unit. Supply, paper and ink, or photo disk, that Unit is available!
