A good basic printer

Michelangelo "Michelangelo", Amazon
22 February 2008
  • Summary: For what I paid, this is a great printer. I have had less problems and breakdowns from this printer than I've had from any other printer. The print quality is very good. This printer sold me on possibly purchasing another HP....I love the hassle free printing. It's very frustrating to have a printer breakdown when you need it, this is a pretty reliable printer.

Cute little machine, probably great for photos

jnnbray, Ebay
9 March 2007
  • Summary: This is a sleek looking little printer with a small footprint. I know that it's mostly for printing photos, and it probably does a good job of that, but I purchased it to use to print receipts in a small business. I've only used it a short time, and so my thoughts may change later, but so far: Pros: Small - not too much space needed Cons: I bought it for speed - it's rated at 30 pages ppm on the B&W option. But there's no way it's that quick, even when set on the draft.

I am satisfied

lalandlord, Ebay
12 February 2007
  • Summary: For an inexpensive printer, this is quite good. I am not sure what the other posters are saying that the printing is bad. I printed some 4x6 on the best quality HP Premium plus photo paper with the highest quality ink (HP99) and resolution and the photos came out fantastic. I know it's expensive, but that is a tradition with ink jet printers. As far as the paper jam issue this has not happened to me.

Better than average printer

Shawn Timen "graphic designer/creative director", Amazon
5 November 2006
  • Summary: I like how it has the tray to insert 4x6 paper for printing photos, makes it very easy, also, if i dont use the printer for a day or two i need to clean the nosels before using it but doent take long and always get good prints after that. Good inexpensive printer, makes good prints. the ink usually costs $40-50 for both cartrages but i am a graphic designer and it does everything i need without having to buy a very expensive printer.

Nice printer!

Jay 250, Amazon
2 November 2006
  • Summary: I bought this printer on sale and it's a really good product. The photo quality is excellent and i've had a few people ask me to prove that my printer actually printed them. Very easy to use and set up, love the Bluetooth, makes it easier to use the printer. The Vivera inks are really worth what i pay for them, not the kind of printer you want to use if you're just going to be printing text (not worth it). The ink doesn't really last to long though.

Performs beautifully

M. Haley "hotmomma3", Amazon
12 June 2006
  • Summary: Just received this as a bundle with the HP407 digital camera for about $120.00. The printer is great! Prints good quality, fairly quickly and doesn't burn through the ink. Haven't connected to my computer, as I'm using the printer as a stand-alone portable. I have an HP multifuntion & don't want to risk a software error by connecting a second HP product. I print off the digital card from the camera, it accepts many different type of cards & printing is easy.

Photo printer cheap as chips

roy.jenni..., Ciao
5 September 2006
  • Excerpt: "...photo printing, rather than the HP stuff that comes with the printer. (my opinion) I would seriously recommend the printer, I have only had it for a few weeks so far, but am very pleased with the results its given me. The cartridges are a little on the dearer side than other manufacturers. But I would recommend using the GENUINE ones rather than cheap after market type. I haven't been able to use the printer on my LAN NETWORK, which was simple ...
  • Pros: Good resolution, neat features
  • Cons: None found
