Summary: Love this printer, that's why I bought it again. First one lasted ten years. Can't beat that. The only down side is that it can be slow in printing. I';; take lasting over ten years to speed any day.
HP 7760 is a decent printer but it is not very durable and it is slow.

Summary: I’ve owned an HP Photosmart 7760 printer for 3 years. I purchased it used from a woman who did professional photography. I bought this printer because I needed a printer that would print high quality photos and also work for general use. This printer does print high quality photos but it is slow. For an 4 x 6 inch photo to print takes about 60 to 90 seconds. On a positive note, this type of printer does hold its value well.
Summary: This printer is a very substantial one. It gets a lot of use and has stood up quite well. This is my second one. I also like the cartridges because they can easily be refilled, thereby saving a great deal of money that would have been spent on new replacement ones. As a matter of a fact, I have filled the color one at least 10 times and the black one over 20 times. I do not recommend it for photos that are for keeping because other printers produce better results.
Summary: WORKS GREAT, EASY TO USE, EASY TO CONNECT, THE DIFFERENT COLOR CARTRIDGES MAKE IT EASY FOR REFILL. BEAUTIFUL PICTURES, EXCEPTIONAL SOFTWARE FOR DOWNLOADING AND SAVING IMAGES, RELIABILITY IS OUTSTANDING
Summary: Bought this printer becasue it was a newer model of one I had. It was a good buy and I knew the quality of the product going in. The quality of print was excellent and the cost of operation was not exhorbtent. It makes a good all around printer for many needs.
Summary: I bought it because it was highly rated in Consumer Reports. The photo (and regular) printing quality is excellent. The speed is quick, and it is a pretty quiet printer. Five annoying features: you have to exchange cartridges when you print out photos or plain B&W copies, and it's easy to forget which cartridge is in there.
Summary: This is a real workhorse and produces exceptional quality prints on a wide variety of papers. The drawbacks for me have been primarily with the small size of the ink cartridges. They just don't seem to last very long, but then again neitehr does the paper, so maybe the print count is allright. At any rate, this is a good one to go with especially for the price they sell for these days.
Color that's reliable, by a Maker with a reputation.

Excerpt: "The HP PhotoSmart 7760 is an attractive looking printer that hides a multiple of possibilities. Four years into ownership, the printer is still going strong and is used on a regular basis. The printer isn't as compact as some that are on the market, though for those who have space in their home office, it's a fairly safe choice, though has some disadvantages and advantages, and consumers should weigh these up when making their decision on a purchase. ...
Pros: Easy to use with good software package and support
