Summary: This printer works fine, but the ink that came with it only printed about one third of the first photo. Very poor for this company to send out a product that the consumer is not able to use. I also sent a similar message to the company but have received NO response.
Summary: I purchased the Photosmart Inkjet printer because I thought it would be a good alternative to taking the film, dropping it off, then going back a few days later or an hour later and picking up your pictures. Also, I had the opportunity to use one during an art show that I was involved in and loved it. I just had to have it. Then, after purchasing the Photosmart, I realized I needed a new ink cartridge for it. The ink is very expensive and so is the paper.
Summary: The print quality on these newer HP printers almost had me running out to buy one. They truly do make some beautiful prints. However, I got looking further and now I would say run far away. Not just from this one, but from all newer HP printers. Why? The ink cartridges. A few years ago there was a big uproar when HP started dropping the amount of ink in their cartridges.
