Old Damaged product

Shelley, Amazon
25 September 2013
  • Summary: Advertized "new". It is definitely not anywhere near new. It looks like its been in a moist cellar for years, the tape on the box is yellow and no longer sticks to the box. Most of the box was damaged (probably before it was shipped). and the styrofoam is in pieces that surround the printer. The ink looks like its very old, the packaging is shrunk to the ink cartridge. Very dissatisfied with this seller.

Now retired...

An Educated Consumer, Amazon
5 August 2013
  • Summary: Received as a gift. Have had this unit for a number of years. Cartridges are used up rather quickly. Decided to retire my unit although still operational. I now have the Canon Pixma 3220, a much more versatile and efficient unit. The price as quoted is very, very high for the HP 385...it was much cheaper years back. Today, you can get a printer with more features for less money.

It is newer and has more features than my older one that was broken.

  • Summary: I had a Photosmart 335 and it broke and I really liked that I could print my own pictures, so I bought the Photosmart 385, which has more features than the other one I had. So far I haven't had any problems with this printer.

  • Summary: Cheap photo printer. Cheap ink and paper too. Prints nice quality photos, but has limited editing features. The image needs to be setup exactly how you want it to look before you send the image to the printer.

Easy to use and print quality is very good.

  • Summary: This is my third purchase of this old new product. I purchased for my sister who does like to deal with computers and wants things simple. Easy to print without the need of a computer. Is small and portable. She uses it a lot, takes hundreds of pictures. When they finally wear out we are happy to still be able to find the exact same model on line.
