Summary: I have been very impressed with the color quality of this printer. Have had several low- to mid-range laser color printers and have found the color quality of this printer to be far superior--truer colors, much better saturation, etc--with no toner leaks or any of the other annoyances of a $200 - $500 color laser printer.
Great Printer. VERY smooth and quicker than quick.

Summary: I have a business and print and mail from 10 to 20 invoices each weekend. This printer has tray 2 for #10 envelopes for using stamps.com and tray one for regular paper. It holds about 15 #10 and plenty of regular paper for it makes my weekend work a breeze. From dead cold first print it is much quicker than my $900 laser at the office and quality is so close it you can tell the difference.
Inkjet that thinks it's a laser printer. It's not.

Summary: Good: pretty painless setup as a network printer. Advertises itself well. Speaks IPv6 if that's important to you. Fast. Should be cheap per page printed. Compatible as a postscript printer (trivial setup on Linux & Mac). Bad: A bit noisy, but the biggest issue is just that it's an inkjet. Other reviews mentioned that the pages are a bit wet: they aren't lying. it's an inkjet. It doesn't look as good as a color laser on cheap paper: it's an inkjet.
Summary: We do our 2side newsletters on these. You can't imagine 1 page per second. I can get done with a ream of 500 sheets in less than 10 minutes. Even the Professional mid-quality takes only 3 seconds or so. 32 lb paper on Professional with these inks are a real treat and look super pro to your clients. I have pushed more envelopes and heavy card stock through this unit than I ever though would be possible.
Excerpt: This printer is amazingly fast! The quality of the print is great as well. It also seems like we are spending a lot less money on ink now that we've switched all of our printers in the office to this one. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone. It is definitely worth the price.
Summary: very disappointed with this printer for printing photos, quality really sucks when compared to laser jet prints. laser prints are about 100% better. the only thing this printer has going for it is speed, but then again who really wants speed over quality. felt my money has been wasted, great for black and white prints but not for photos, etc. guess i have to go back to a costly laser.
Summary: I purchased this unit to handle my color printing needs and I chose this unit over the HP Color Laserjet units because of the higher print volume the high capacity ink cartridges offer at the same cost as the laser toner. Before you purchase the Pro X451 or a color Laserjet, take a strong look at your actual need to print color because the ink and toner cartridges for these units cost approximately $120 each and they require 4 different cartridges (Black.Cyan, Magenta &...
Summary: HP have decided that they want to kill the laser printer by improving inkjet technology and, for the most part, they've succeeded with the HP Pro X451dn Color Printer. This printer's few minor annoyances can easily be forgiven in light of the significant cost savings it brings to the table. The X451dn takes a while to set up, and you may need two people if you're not into dead-lifting 38 pounds, but the process is not complicated.
Summary: Incredibly fast printer. I have bought many printers for my office, both laser and ink jet. This is the fastest printer I have ever seen. It prints up to 70 pages a min and does a great job printing 2 sides but not at high speed. When printing 2 sides you need to slow it down or you will end up with many pages only printed 1 side. If you want to let your employees or family print color pages until their heart is content then this is the printer for you.
