Summary: I feel compelled to write a review on this printer even though I have had it for over 6 years! I've never had a single problem with this printer. In fact, when it was brand new, I ran into the cord and it pulled the printer off my counter and it fell 3 feet onto a cement floor. It got a little banged up and I thought that would be the end of it. Not true, it just keeps on putting out great prints. It is my favorite printer of all time!!
Summary: I have used this printer for more than one year. It works perfectly. I have printed hundreds, may-be thousands, of pages and have experienced only one paper jam. Colors are may-be not perfect for pictures, but for office work it's OK. Caution : don't replace the cartridges when the red led lights. It's only to warn you that you should buy a replacement ink cartridge.
Summary: Reading all the negative reviews has me baffled. I've had this one for over a year and have had no problems at all. I just finished printing 300 sheets with about 30% color and they were all beautiful and printed very quickly. I do this all the time. As for the printer stopping when one of the colors runs out of ink, I think that is a PLUS. I don't like to remove cartridges when I am told they're running low. Ink is way too expensive. I let it run until it's empty.
Summary: I bought this for my husband who has a home office which he uses to print mass quantities of sales brochures. It's incredibly fast, and we have had none of the problems that people have mentioned. I highly recommmend you buy the high capacity toner cartridges if you use this for a lot of printing.
Summary: I recently bought this machine and I think it is wonderful. I have been in the Epson inkjet camp for the past 4 years. But, each non-photo Epson Inkjet printer I have had dies at about 16 months. It was deciding on either the HP Officejet K550 $150 or HP Laserjet 2605dn $449. I decided on the K550 for the following reasons: 1. Price. You can't beat the $150 price tag. I bought the $29 2 yr extended warranty and even then the cost is still lower than $199. 2. Durability.
Summary: What a wonderful gem of a printer hp has created with K550. I have a photosmart 7350 and when my SECOND multifunction device I bought from Epson (including the replacement on the second CX3200 machine), I decided I was happy with the hp experience. The photosmart was a little on the slow side and that's why I was looking into speed and crisp quality prints.
Great color netowrk printer for around home or small office!

Summary: This is a very nice printer. Setup takes no time. I do not know the longevity on ink usage yet. But I only plan to use to print color when I have to, so the ink usage will be minimal. I need all the computers in the house to print to it, so I bought the HP Jetdirect 175X print server for it to print via network. it work great once you download the file from HP web site for the printer server. Load the HP printer wazard will help the process.
Summary: Drivers loaded first time no problem. I was printing in less than ten minutes out of the box. I've got a year and a half old computer with XP Pro. Printer is a little larger than most non "all in one" machines. Ink usage so far is not quite what HP claims but very good. ( note, check the settings, docs in 300dpi are still very good, at higher settings excellent, and compare to laser quality.) Prints very fast, good clear docs.
Summary: After having an HP printer many years ago with no problems, I decided to get rid of my Canon printer (POS) and buy this one (although quite large for home use!),it works wonderfully in comparison. Occasionally it will feed out two pages instead of one, not often enough to worry, but the print quality is awesome. My daughter's print out color pics from the computer and they look great! Worth every penny.
