Summary: I have purchased three of these printers, two for myself and one for my pastor. the first one printed 47,000 pages before the print head started missing some spots. I use the printer for many different uses, in all of the many different uses the printer has done a very good job. easy to install a continuous inking system on this printer. Makes it cheap printing.
Summary: This is one of the best ink jet printers ever. As well as large 20 cl Cartridges you can have an extra large Black 70+ cl So economical - reliable - fast and efficient a really reliable work horse Such a shame HP decided to stop producing Come on HP start producing again - these fancy new all singing & dancing multi purpose Print - Fax - Scan and no doubt soon - sing - are O.K but oh boy do they eat ink and are not a patch on a K 5400 if you want a quality fast printer B...
Summary: I have owned the HP K5400 inkjet printer for over 3 years now. It is the best printer I've owned bar none. It has individual black, cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges that last much longer than any of the many lesser quality inkjets I've owned, most HP and some Epson and Canon. Also the refill cartridges work well from Inkjet superstore. The cost per copy is on par with a laser printer. I still use an old HP Laserjet 4 "workhorse" printer too.
Summary: I bought the K5400 when it first came out. I liked that the ink cartridges were separate from the print heads, and that the cartridges were rather large. I had the printer for about a year and used it to print lots of photos and military documents.I then deployed to Iraq and was in need of a printer out there. I was so happy with the K5400 that I decided to order the K5400 pro, with the LAN port, 2nd paper try, and duplexer.
Pros: This printer has not jammed in two years (I do take time to place the paper in carefully), and the ink has never smeared (I have not tried glossy paper). The duplex feature has worked flawlessly. Very cost-effective printer.
Cons: It is a little noisy. It does not bother me now that I am used to it.
Have two and never a problem buying another for home

Summary: We bought this to run a few thousand cards (3X5") per year Also use it as a standard printer a few hundred pages per Month. It's lighning fast and the ink lasts forever. We bought a second to replace another printer that runs maybe 5,000 color pages a year and have never had a problem with either one. There is an occational misfeed on the small cards but it prints 60 per minute!
"I really like it. Does what it is supposed to do."

Pros: I love how fast it prints and how long the ink last. Ink cartridges are cheap also. The printer does what it is supposed to do. Also to note that the printer is an officejet and a photosmart, therefore photo quality will not be there.
Summary: I Have now purchased two of these which makes it easy to purchase ink for my home and office. These are great machines and work to perfection. I have owned several different brands and models in the past and believe me I will never buy other than HP for my home or office again. One more note I will never again purchase a multi-function unit because one function or the other will surely fail then your back to purchasing again. Stay with single function machines.
