Excerpt: I've only had this one for a few days. The wireless set up was pretty easy. I've printed checks, invoices, assorted documents and #10 envelopes without a problem. Print quality has been excellent. The wireless set up was easier than expected; just follow the instructions on the disk provided. Replacement inks are expensive, so I'll assume that they'll last a long time.
Excerpt: I admittedly was trying to save as much money as I could when purchasing a new printer. I decided on this model because it comes with full size in cartridges and will print two-sided documents, which was a requirement for me. I was pleased with both the black and white as well as color printing. It prints very quickly --even on color printed pages -- and does great on ink usage. The set up was extremely easy, even for the wireless usage.
Excerpt: This printer was easy to unpack and set up! Within 20 minutes, I had it up and going. The print quality is nice. The printer prints fairly fast, unlike some other printers that take forever just to get started. It's not too noisy. Couldn't be happier!
Pros: Clean Replacement, Dries Quickly, Sharp Tones & Colors
Excerpt: Had difficulty installing - called tech # in book, tried to charge us $300. Hung-Up on us, then another tech wanted to charge $75. 1st tech called back and said could be done under warranty. Did get it installed. The printer continually grabs several sheets of paper. I ran some front to back, it grabbed several sheets, which ruined some of those I had already printed on one side. If fan the paper before putting in tray.
Pros: Dries Quickly, Easy to Replace, PRINTS QUICKLY, Sharp Tones & Colors
Excerpt: Bought this on Feb 22, 2014 to replace an older HP whose power supply died. The setup was easy and I had no problems networking this with several computers. The speed of printing is excellent. The one major failing, for me, is that it will not take card stock paper (110 lb). I need this for work I do for a local charity and my other printers would accommodate this.
Pros: Easy to install, Fast print speed
Cons: Rather Large Footprint On, Will Not Handle Cardstock
Excerpt: I use it via network connection on a small office (4 computers). Works OK for color charts and printing webpages to paper. Do not buy this printer if you are looking to print photos. Uh-huh. My old HP-PhotoSmart All In One did print photos better than this printer but it died. : ( I just invested in a network "Photo" printer to do photos in addition to this printer.
Excerpt: if no problems, this would will be excellent and a definite improvement over previous printer. I find the print has very good color quality and the way the catridges are done is practical and less expensive than other similar models. So far there have been no jammed papers. The controls are quite easy to manipulate. The size is very compact and light weight, so it is relatively easy to move around as need be.
Pros: Long Lasting Color, Sharp Tones & Colors
Excerpt: Bought this to replace an HP OJ Pro K550 that served me well for 9 years and then died with $100 worth of ink in it. I mainly use it for everyday use, but also print brochures, so cost per page is important to me. This seems to be one of the most economical out there to use. I was disappointed to see that all the adjustments to color, tone, brightness, etc. that could be made to the printer on the K550 could not be made on this one.
Pros: Low Cost Per Page, Low Purchase Price, Quiet
Cons: C Prints On Plain Paper, Inconsistent Page Feed, Large Footprint
Excerpt: Purchased the printer when my last printer died. Installing the printer was a piece of cake. Set up the wireless in less then 5 minutes. First time I've ever been able to do that. Couldn't be happier.
