Summary: It looks like a really cool printer. It seems to work okay. It just takes forever to print something. I had a 55 page document that I had to print. After an hour and a half, I had only printed about 27 pages. This is probably only good if you need to print smaller packages.
Summary: This printer lasted for about 18 months of moderate use. Then it started getting funky: not printing the upper half of a line, when it printed at all, etc. It also used a lot of ink. Up-side: it definitely is light and portable. Review take away: I'm not going to purchase another one.

Summary: I placed order for this printer on July 29, 2011. I had been out of town but was told it arrived timely. When I came back I attempted to install software but had a problem with it. I called for a return and I spoke to Jarred. He very politely indicated a website for quick help. I insisted on returning and he very nicely provided RNA and return info.
HP OfficeJet H470 Mobile Printer-Good Printer/POOR Support

Summary: My wife needed a small portable printer for her job. After researching portable printers decided on the HP. Printer was defective out of the box, carriage would not move to the load position as a result I was unable to load the ink cartridges. I called HP support and the first contact was unable to resolve the problem, obviously reading from a script and asking me to first explain the problem, which I did and then after being put on hold briefly two or three times was...
Summary: I have owned an HP470 for 4 years now. I appreciate its compact design and the wireless transfer of data from my computer to the printer. The print quality is good. However it just loves to put on a son et lumière show. At given occasions (I haven't quite worked out its logic) it will spent a good minute making whirring noises, moving the cartridge back and forth, rotating its rollers.
Summary: Unit works fine and have no problems with it locking up or paper jams. When I change the color ink cartridge I get horizontal bands through the pictures I print. I clean the cartridge and is get better but still visible. After printing several pages problem disappears until next change. No problem with black. I use one to two ink cartridges a day for my job and print text and photos. Two others in the office have the same printer and they don't have that problem.
Summary: I recently purchased about 150 of these printers from HP for my company, so our people in the field can use them on the go. They are great for mobility, the speed and quality are great, cartridges last a long time, BUT... we are having an overwhelming amount of problems with 'carriage stalled' error messages. The print cartridges will not move. Every manual and troubleshooting thing I see says this is due to a paper jam, but it isn't.
Summary: Comments about HP Officejet H470 Mobile Inkjet Printer: This product works well although is misleading since it says it is a mobile printer. It IS except it doesn't come with all of the necessary products to make that possible. Additional items were purchased at an high rate to make the printer mobile. Another model has all of this included for a combined total that was significantly less. Read the fine print.
Summary: I have used this printer for my handicapped son to take to school, etc. I have found it to be adequate for this, but the printer is made out of very soft plastic. It breaks off very easily. The ink cartridges are hard to put in and the holder broke off. The paper tray on top was pulled on gently and it broke! I have never liked HP. I plan to find another printer made by another company.
