Summary: This is the workhorse in our home office. Its used for printing, scanning, copying and faxing and does all very well. Easy to use and quiet! The print quality on this HP is great for the price and age.
Summary: Looking at all the negative reviews, I'd never buy one of these multi-function printers. However, our D135 is a wonderful device and we've been delighted with it since we bought it. I've never had a problem with it and as of April 1, 05 we'll have had the printer for three years.
Summary: First Impressions: I like the OfficeJet d135! I like the design: despite the imposing size, the d135 fits neatly on my desk (to be fair I have to admit I have a rather large "L" shaped desk in my loft) with room to spare, but just barely.
When it's good, it's very good. When it's bad, it sucks.

Summary: When it is working perfectly, the D135 makes beautiful printouts, has great fax reception, and creates multipage PDFs in a fraction of the time it would take to create them using a flatbed scanner. The problem is, it never works perfectly.
Summary: This printer often stubbornly refuses to produce. It says there's a paper jam. There is no jam. None whatsoever. Nevertheless I have to go through the process of opening the machine, closing it, hitting enter and praying to the gods above that it will decide to print...
Summary: Steer clear of this awful printer. It goes through ink and print heads like crazy. It is the most unreliable piece of garbage that I have ever had the displeasure of owning. I used to love HP printers but will never ever buy another HP product again.
Summary: This POS has been nothing but headaches. For some dumb reason we have kept it around as a backup but rarely use it (and when we need to, it doesn't work, often needing printheads replaced where it lives on for a very short while). It is one of the least reliable pieces of hardware I've ever owned.
Unreliable and untrustworthy scanner. Would not buy anything from this manufacturer based on this product.

Summary: I often have to re-scan documents two or even three times because the feeder pulls in two sheets at a time. In addition, the scan terminates with the highly informative message "an error has occurred.
Summary: I have had nothing but good experiences with this machine. I bought it over 6 years ago, from ebay, so I don't even remember if it was new when I bought it. I have taken good care of it, and it has taken good care of me.
Summary: The Hewlitt Packard Officejet D135 multifunction printer is advertised as a two-sided printing/copying and scanning with Optical Character Recognition (OCR). However, this is NOT the case. 1. Two-sided printing/copying requires a (C6437A) duplexer, which I have been unable to obtain.
