Summary: replaced this was using a k8600 wide-format and it is a lot lighter and flimsier than the 8600 but seems to work fine so far. For the money its definitely a good deal and just have to see how long it lasts. But....the size of the ink cartridges is so tiny to be pitiful, compared to say the HP 8100 which is a letter size printer they are even smaller! So if you are planning on any serious print runs hope you have a deep pocketbook.
Summary: Being in a remote office this was a must have item for printing engineering drawings. The only down side if you want to look for one is the ink. I believe the usage is in the normal range and is better then my smaller HP printer. Not a copier but it prints great.
Summary: This unit was very easy to install and configure for the large 11"by 17" printing we do and feeds the paper well. The individual ink tanks are good as they assist in conserving ink and are not discarded when only one color is expended. The unit is a bit slow on the original print aggregation but then is exceptionally fast (almost startling so) once it actually starts to print.
GO BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL DESIGN OF THE HP WIDE FORMAT PRINTER. YOU HAVE CHEAPENED IT DOWN TOO MUCH!!!

Summary: The newest addition of the 7000 Wide Format Printer is O.K., but in my estimation and I have had four (4) previous HP Officejet Wide Format Printers, THIS NOT BUILT AS WELL AS THE OLDER MODELS THEY HAD. They have cheapened them down in some way, the paper tends to get hung up, etc. Why didn't they leave an economical, previously wonderful, printer ALONE!!! Go back to your original design HP. You'll sell a lot more!!!
Summary: Outstanding printer, has everything one needs for larger projects. I use printer primarily to print my stamp albums using the manufacturers black sheets, and the result are unbelievable. The best thing I ever did, saving me $100.00s over the cost of ready printed albums.

Summary: I've been a loyal HP printer user for years - this was my second HP7000 to replace the first which stopped printing after 4 + years of heavy use. Loved the wide format feature. This new printer refused to print anything with black ink right out of the box - even after aligning, cleaning the printhead, installing a brand new cartridge. Software was amazingly difficult to install on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and 64 bit machines. Goodby HP.
