Summary: Great looking machine, clean and simple. That swayed my purchasing decision. I'm sorry it did. I've been through 3 sets of cartridges and had the same performance each time--it drinks ink like crazy. I get around 10-12 prints out of a set of cartridges, and they're not cheap. I'm not printing 8 1/2 X 14" sheets that are dense, full color photos, must of my printing is a small letterhead for business. This works out to about $4 to print a single letterhead.
Summary: I've printed maybe 100 pages total on this. I've had to replace all the cartridges once already. Recently, the Magenta and Cyan indicated they were low. Really? After 15 pages? The amazing thing is, it sucks ink even when not in use. Now, even though I should be able to print text, the print is unreadable. It was told to me that I need a new print head. Excuse me? Never again will I buy HP.
Summary: HP advertised this thing as a "Color Inkjet Printer" which can produce 600 dpi printouts at 32 pages per minute. What it really is, is a black and grey box which produces whirrs and clicks and magically makes ink disappear.
