24 July 2013
Excerpt: HP has touted that its Officejet 150 is the world’s first all-in-one inkjet mobile printer. Geek Girl gets her hands on a unit, priced at a hefty S$599 , to find out if the mobile workhorse is worth what you’re paying for. Appearance The Officejet 150 indeed lives up to its name as a mobile printer. Weighing in at 3.1kg with its battery, the printer is by no means heavy and can be easily toted around.
HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer--A Handy Tool for Road Warriors
24 April 2013
Summary: Road warriors will find a dependable friend in the HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer, which offers long-lived battery power and easy to set up Bluetooth printing. It's not the smallest mobile printer I've seen, but it does print in color and gives remarkably good results considering its size.
Pros: Very good print and photo quality, Easy to set up Bluetooth networking, Portable, Battery power lasts a long time
Summary: The HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer is a useful accessory for working on the road. The convenience comes at a premium, but its quick prints, wireless access, and rechargeable battery make it worth the cost.
Cons: The ability to print anywhere comes at a premium cost.
Summary: The HP Officejet printer currently sells in the market for a price of Rs. 14,000. Obviously, the printer doesn’t have any other functionality per se, like scanning or fax and hence it is a single function device. However, with the single printing function, it is fast and efficient. So, for those of you who have the resources for an expensive single function device, the HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer is a good choice.
Summary: The HP Officejet 100 is a suitable product for anyone who's travelling and needs regular access to a printer — as long as print speed and print quality aren't crucial. We would have liked to see more features and a few minor design changes, though.
Conclusion: The HP Officejet 100 fills a very niche role in the printing market today. It is specifically designed for the mobile professional who wants/needs to print from many locations and because of this, it lacks some features we take for granted on inkjet printers. For instance, the average photo quality and lack of borderless photo prints over 4x6 in size.
Pros: Wire-free mobility, Color printing, Ease of use
Excerpt: (1 items) The HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer is a color inkjet printer specifically designed to be a portable model for mobile users such as real-estate agents or insurance agents. It delivers, but for a high initial price, as well as high ongoing ink costs. Offering features that are tuned for simplicity and portability, the Officejet 100 is small and solidly constructed.
Conclusion: For people who want to print documents on the move or locally while in areas with no printers or local print services, the Officejet 100 could be the answer, although it does weigh 2.5kg, so you might think twice about carrying it about. The print quality is good. Inkjet cartridges are not included with the printer and need to be purchased separately.
Conclusion: The Officejet 100 is the best all-round mini printer we saw in our review. It will suit the business person who needs to print out reports while on the road, and can function as a reasonable alternative if you need an occasional printer at home. The built-in Bluetooth feature is nice but we’d really like to see the option of AirPrint come to this unit for easy printing from iOS devices.
