Summary: I mistakenly purchase this printer thinking it was the successor to the P2055dn. Was I ever wrong! This printer didn't come close to the 26 page per minute as the specifications provided. I was also surprised when the toner went out after one week of use.
Summary: It annoys me that using my mac it takes 30 minutes to print out 4 powerpoint slides. To think HP printers used to be good, those days are gone. I'm switching printers after this. HP hasn't been like it used to be.
Summary: We had this exact same model of printer working without any issues until it encountered a large diet coke so I am confident that the printers issues are the result of a bad network card.
Pros: Small footprint. Not as slow as some. Works fine as an anchor for small boats.
Cons: Connections to switched networks or networks with professional firewalls are not supported by HP. Network cards frequently drop off the network and cause print jobs that are incomplete, all blank pages, or just won't run. Calls to HP support are met with the answer of, "We do not support this printer if it is plugged into a switch." and "The network cards on these printers are infallible."
Summary: Although they come out blank, the problem is actually that it prints as if the envelope was loaded aligned to the left, when it has to be fed aligned in the center in order to feel properly. I've checked the forums, upgraded my firmware and drivers, checked what preferences were available to me and NOTHING worked! This is probably a great printer for 8.5 x 11 inch paper, but I really need to print envelopes!
Do not buy if you intend to set up on wireless network..it does not work and there are no instructions

Summary: Definitely NOT "Plug & Play" in term of WIFI set up. 1/ There is basically no instructions on manual 2/ I use latest OSX Maverick and installation with or without CD did not produce an HP set up/installation program. 3/ I have set up previous HP inkjet /scanner /Printers on my WIFI (Apple extreme) and this one is in back to MS/DOS mode of the 1980s. This is 2013 HP and software is supposed to work!
Summary: Will NOT work with Mavericks OS/X, software on HP download is corrupted (!!) and HP does not answer help phone after zillion minutes of waiting. It makes a useful paperweight and that's about it.
Did not work ... HP support is a freaking nightmare

Summary: Despite attempts with two different toner cartridges, I continue to get a toner warning from this thing. I cannot print anything. I have been on the phone for 35 minutes with someone at a call center in India who has clearly never seen the printer and asked me dozens of irrelevant questions. Now I am on hold for a supervisor. SOOO frustrated. I agree about the lack of a USB cable - if you need a USB cable to install, include it. It can't be that big a cost element.
