Summary: Not stop out of memory errors. I recommend you find another model. So far I've been on support with HP for over an hour and they can't fix it. Totally bummed. Will have to replace it. Pretty useless.

Summary: It's a very nice printer, but printing anything out is a nightmare... I've had HP printers all my life. Usually, they are pretty good and reliable. This printer, however, while very nicely made in a lot of ways, has the most awful interface of any printer I've ever experienced.
Summary: Cheap junk. For fourteen years we've operated a home-based business that has demanding printing requirements. We require a real professional office printer. This is disposable sub-consumer-grade junk.
Summary: Our office has been devoted to HP Laser Printers for over 20 years, beginning with the IIIP, then the 2100, followed by the 2200 duplex. This M401dne is much faster than any of its predecessers, but unlike earlier models, it supports printing on only a few selected sizes of envelopes, not including...
Excerpt: I've used HP Printers for years, but the last (3) I purchased in January 2014 (HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401DNE Monochrome Laser Printer specifically) have all died or needed to be "retired." Printer #1 of 3: 4 weeks after purchase in January 2014 --Worked great until it made a terrible crunching noise.
Cons: Quality, Performance, bad drivers, bad firmware
Excerpt: I am trying to replace my hp 2035 and thought this would be the next step up. This printer has problems printing on anything other than 8 1/2 x 11 regular paper. It might print once for you on an envelope but the next time say it doesn't recognize an envelope and just print on a piece of paper.
Cons: doesn't print on other media, tray 1 sensor has issues
Summary: I ordered 3 printers for our department in order to avoid replacing the "community" printer. We all LOVE these printers. In fact, I am order more of them today for other departments. We have not had one jam, error, or anything else happen - they simply print... every time!
