The printer cannot be more than 2 feet away from it, or it won't get a signal. Summary: The previous model I owned worked very well. I bought this one on 2/14/2014, and now am getting "backend failed" messages and no prints. When I go to HP online, it tells me the warranty end date was 2011-11-10. When purchasing, there was an option for buying a two year warranty, but there was no alert that the product had no warranty at all!

Summary: I have bought many HP printers. This one is slow, slow, slow. It is constantly re-calibrating, cleaning, initializing.... everything but printing. To make it even easier to HATE, the replacement cartridges cost as much as the printer itself! What a pain in the neck. I will be using it as a B & W printer until I replace it entirely. (I just put in a new black cartridge and it has been "initializing" for at least 5 minutes - UGH!!!
Summary: The printer was decent for the first 2 years then it started printing with vertical lines(Alignment problem). Called HP and they said there is a known problem that cant be fixed. Then they tried to sell me another printer..... Haha. Not really going to buy a printer from a company that knows it was selling faulty products and wont replace them. It's time to try a name known for quality.....Canon.

Summary: This printer is a disaster. I've owned this printer for almost two years, and every day i rue the day I purchased it. The driver fails and has to be reinstalled constantly, until one day, it will not longer reinstall. Finally had to install a universal HP driver to communicate with the printer. It constantly initializes itself which takes an inordinate amount of time and very often occurs during printing of pages of the same document sent as one print job to the printer.
Summary: The printer didn't work when it arrived. The paper got jammed every time it printed. We contacted the company who sent us the way to send it back for another one, however we haven't received it yet.
