Paper jammer is a better name for this

Amazon Customer, Amazon
31 January 2016
  • Summary: Literally can't print more than two pages without jamming. Been trying to print a big project and it's taken 4 hours and it's not even done. My boyfriend is literally so upset with it that I have to throw this thing in the garbage and waste another couple hundred dollars on a cheaper replacement b/c...

Dan About, Amazon

  • Summary: Awful Printer. My parents have this, and the software to run it constantly has issues connecting. Over USB! Unreliable, would not buy HP again based on the performance of this printer.

Toner Is a Joke

Travis H., Newegg
13 September 2012
  • Summary: Nope, refurb, refilled, re-manufactured toner is not an option.
  • Pros: Inexpensive Printer
  • Cons: Toner Price, toner is a joke for this. Spend an extra $40 and just get a new printer instead of new (HP) toner.

Stay AWAY from this awful printer!

Samir P., Newegg
15 May 2012
  • Pros: The cons outweigh the potential of this printer (and the main reason why I bought it), but the wireless option as well as the Apple direct print feature was something I was really looking forward to use. We have several "i" devices in the house and I wanted to see how the direct print feature wou...
  • Cons: Toner cartridge bay. Possibly the worst design for toner install/replacement I've ever seen in a printer. HP has got it all wrong with the pull out tray and sensors. Out of the box the printer didn't recognize half of the toners after I installed them. I reseated them dozens of times as instructe...

HP Laserjet Pro CP 1525nw - worst printer i've ever owned

Mary, Amazon
10 March 2011
  • Summary: This printer is a disaster. I've owned this printer for almost two years, and every day i rue the day I purchased it. The driver fails and has to be reinstalled constantly, until one day, it will not longer reinstall. Finally had to install a universal HP driver to communicate with the printer.

HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw

Tom in Florida, Amazon
10 March 2011
  • Summary: 1. If you have a Mac, do not follow the instructions supplied with this printer. I wasted over 2 hours following the instructions that came with the printer, trying to get the installation disk HP provided to work. Go to HP's web site and download "HP Support for Mac OS X Snow Leopard".

George, Amazon
10 March 2011
  • Summary: I encountered two problems today. 1st the installation disc that came with the printer would not work with Apple's Mountain Lion. Terrible

Michelle Garcia, Amazon
10 March 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this product which stated on the box that the initial cartridges would print 750 pages approximately. I printed 75 full color pages and ran of out ink. I understand I used a lot of ink but still thought this was far from 750 pages.
