Summary: For decades, HP printers, like the HP Laserjet 1000/1200 series and the P20xx series have set the standard for good solid home-office and small office monochrome laser printing. I still have the Laserjet P2050 which works wonderfully and is compatible with high capacity cartridges.
Summary: I purchased this printer to replace my trusty HP LaserJet 1320. I checked the specs to make sure that it would do what I wanted - in particular duplex (two sided) printing. The 400 series information say yes.
Summary: Right out of the box there is a memory error 10.0000. It relates to the inability of the printer to read the memory chip on the toner cartridge - something added most likely only to protect the ridiculous profit margins on toner cartridges.
Summary: I've been using hp printers for about 30 years. Have recommended them to all my clients, felt they were a work horse machine. Unfortunately, this machine is a nightmare. Cannot seem to find info on printing a simple envelope and jams up. I am so disappointed that I purchased this.
Summary: This printer is NOT a wireless printer, and I'm not just talking about the power cord. I have been using HP 2035dn's for quite some time now, which are an older, comparable model that were advertised as 'network' printers (but not wireless).
Summary: Just another piece of junk from HP. Stopped working all together after one year. I cant scan nor print. After FIVE HOURS trying to get this thing to work, I give up. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no help. HP has a few links to customer support...they go to pages that do not exist.
Avoid this thing unless you want major headaches down the road

Summary: Our school purchased 30 of the HP M401n printers, and for the first year and a half they worked fine. Then they all began to fail with an error "Jam In Cartridge Area," although there was no jam.
Summary: Since when do printers not come with all the cables you need for hooking up to a computer? $200.00 printer and you don't even provide a print cable or USB cable to attach to the computer. HP has gone downhill.
