Summary: Quality of the printer did not meet my expectation for a HP. I own a HP 4550 That printer has lasted me for years and I bought it used. The quality of this printer is cheap. The printing quality is ok, but I am used to the quality I own from my previous printer.
Summary: i've used computers since the early '80s, pretty much on a daily basis, and must be the luckiest guy alive given that i've never had a single issue - no hard drive failures, almost zero bsod, no monitor problems, no graphics card problems, nothing, they have just worked - and the only time i've ever ditched a unit was because it was time to upgrade.
Summary: **Please Note: This printer can not be properly installed, and will not work as designed, without a unique USB cable attached (permanently) to the printer. One end is standard USB but the other has a small square end. Also, the description implies the printer might be wireless. It's not. It will not operate without a cable attached to it.
Summary: I like this printer a lot. It was easy to install and set up, even for a non technical 60 year old! It's plenty fast, quiet and has great print quality. If there is one fault, it seems the toner cartridge is pricey. I will look for a better price the next time it needs replacing.
Summary: Printer is fast, solid and easy to set up. I like the extras like the ability to print notebook paper or graph paper from the printer menu. I also like the ability to have an inside paper tray for normal paper and the pull down second tray to input one piece of color paper or laser decal paper (that tray also can hold multiple sheets of a different color etc. if you like).
