I am very pleased with the quality of color print
2 weeks ago
Summary: I am very pleased with the quality of color print. I am a graphic designer and purchased this to save some of the cost of outsourcing my client's printing needs. My only complaint is that it doesn't handle envelopes very well. It did print on a heavier weight envelope just fine, but lighter weight envelopes get eaten. This is very annoying, but I do have an inkjet that I can use for this. Overall, I am very pleased with my first laser jet.
Excerpt: The HP m451dw is just what you expect from a HP printer, has everything you need for proper install. Whether your using it as a network printer or just as a local. Has everything for a quick and flawless install. The print quality is great for a laser printer. The speeds are pretty good also. Overall this printer is actually better than most larger higher capacity printers. Great for home or business and the price was really not to bad either.
Summary: We received this printer last night and the first thing I noticed is that it is HEAVY. It says "two person lift" on the box and I should have heeded it before I took it upstairs solo. The box is big, awkwardly sized, and HEAVY. It's packed very well. There are several adhesive strips behind the various panels that are used to protect moving parts during shipping. These need to be removed before you can use it. No big deal.
Summary: The HP Color LaserJet Pro 400 (M451dw) produces terrific quality prints. I connect to it using my home wireless network. It was relatively easy to set up following the instructions and using a USB cable. Saving paper using duplex printing is a real plus. For faster printing with no backlog when submitting prints, I also ordered an extra 256MB SDRAM memory module. Installing it was a breeze.

Summary: Great Printer. Little slow when printing wirelessly, but not so much it affects my work pace. Highly recommend you use the off brand toner, it is much cheaper (see my previous review on that item)
