Summary: I guess HP figured people kept the printers too long and needed to make them cheaper. I'll pay an extra 100 to 200 bucks not to have to mess with failing printers. Jack up the price and give us your old quality or I.T. people will/are looking elswhere.
Pros: It generally works OK. Support is very good, very dedicated.
Cons: 1) Why would you make a "flap" type paper holder your default/tray 1? What were you thinking? This causes extra work to get all the various programs used to print to the right drawer. Also, getting cheaper. Make it like the old 1200/1300 series. Small footprint, rugged.
Summary: This printer is sufficient for the price and pages print quickly. However, its very loud (a little like a jet engine taking off) and it takes 30 seconds or longer for it to register that a print job has been sent to it.
Summary: Wow, it's pretty loud. Also, the first page comes out speedy-fast, and every additional page comes out after about a 12-second delay. It can get a little frustrating waiting for pages 2+. Quality of the print is good.
Summary: my computer would not recognize the printer and i had to pay $75 for a technician to fix the problem - in the end, I realize all he did was upload the newer version - why this printer did not come with the latest installation software, is beyond me - so beware - if your computer is not downloading...
Summary: We purchased this item as a networked printer to print checks with using MICR toner. The printer had some issues printing from Crystal reports in Server 2008. The included driver did not work correctly and required us to use the Universal HP driver (PCL 5 version 5.3).
Summary: I bought this laser printer on clearance from office depot. It prints quickly and doesn't need a lot of time to warm up. The print quality is more than satisfactory for my usage, which is mostly printing drafts, letters, and source code.
Summary: This machine prints very nice, sharp documents. But I have been very, very disappointed in the toner issue. It only gives you less than 2,000 pages per toner cartridge at $85 per cartridge. We are going through cartridges about one every 4-5 weeks - WAY TOO EXPENSIVE using up that much toner.
Summary: Comments about HP LaserJet P2035n Printer: Unfortunately the printer only takes the 05A toner cartridge, which is pricey and runs out very quickly. There is an 05X cartridge that only works with the 2055, and has about three times the capacity of the 05A.
