Excellent printer for XP, deplorable with Win 7 or higher.

Summary: You might ask why I would give it a high rating for print quality, features and value for money, if I only give it one star overall. I do that out of fairness. In all fairness, WHEN the printer works as it should, it is all that and more. However, technology has moved on, but this model is no longer supported by the new technology, rendering it worthless to anyone with Win 7 or higher. This is a wonderful printer, IF you are working with XP.
Summary: It did not work - I thought it was in good shape, and it was advertised as re-furbished - but neither I nor the IT guy in town could get it to function - unfortunately by then I had tossed out the receipt an box - so it was not a good decision - next time I will buy a new printer
Summary: I was in the market for a faster laser printer, and sticking to my budget at the same time. This unit fits the bill. Its fast, high res, and it duplexes. Buying a refurbish made sense because new models are way overpriced, and not yet proven in the field. I highly recommend this printer for its outstanding performance and value. Check product review on the business sites, they recommend this unit as a real workhorse.
Summary: We use these throughout our plant and they work well for us. We keep the same type printers throughout so that we do not have to have different inks for many different printers. They work well for us and seem to be very reliable.
Good buy for a printer with lots of pag left in it!

Summary: I really like these older laserjet printers. plugs into my KVM and now I can print from 3 different machine without any issues (2 linux and one windows XP). I can get cheap ink on eBay (like 15$ for ~2500 pages) so my cost per page is really low. This printer prints plenty fast and has full duplex support and good drivers from HP (going from an old HP LaserJet 6L). This model is prone to wierd issues due to fabrication problems but I have had 0 issues with this one.
Summary: After two years, my 2015d stopped printing. The paper jam light stayed on. There was no paper jam. HP was not helpful. I was ready to buy a new printer, because repair cost more, when I discovered via online forums other customers with the same printer had experienced the same problem. The solution is to remove the formatter board, bake it at 350, propped up on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil; then cool for 30 minutes before reinstalling.
Summary: I have owned many HP printers for years. I've never had a problem with any of them until this one. My formatter board failed just outside the warranty. HP doesn't stand behind this product and says you can have it serviced at your cost. All that you have to do is google search for formatter board problems with HP P2015 printers and see what you get.
